seriously - which kills you faster, smoking or an IED?
Given General Order 1, if I were to survive an IED attack, after a prayer to God for watching over me, a smoke would be in order since alcohol isn’t permitted for “cultural sensitivity” reasons.
Until then...leave the Troops alone.
Btw, I’m an ex-smoker (~20years), but I haven’t and won’t go down this path of advocating prohibition.
