((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy.

The family is here. Carl and Debbie from Texas brought their newly adopted dog Ginger with them. I had to shut the guest room door so she wouldn't be quite so tempted. She's just a year old.

They arrived yesterday afternoon.

Looks like we're going to get some rain tonight. Tonight it High School Football Homecoming here in Comanche OK.

OU-Texas tomorrow. :-)

Good morning to everyone at the Canteen. 92º is the forecast high and will be a new record. It's supposed to cool off this weekend.

Good morning, dear ((HUGS))
we're supposed to get some rain tonight and into the morning.
I has errands planned for in the morning
but may put it off until later.
And just enjoy a rainy day inside.

Morning Beachie and Happy FReeper FRiday!

Looks like we're going to get a few more days of sun before the inevitable rains set in.

Nothing big planned for me. Any plans on your end?

Have a restful weekend!

Good morning Pro ((HUGS))

Lucky you...getting some sunshine. Will you have it where you are moving to? Better? Worse?

Did you find a place? I see where you mentioned you’re all packed and just waiting.

Got a 3 day weekend coming up so will try not to do too much. But, alas, there’s always those pesky chores.

Have a fabulicious FReakin’ FRiday.

Eastern Washington has less rain, so that will be welcome.

I'm going to Yakima next weekend to look for and get a new place to live, then moving around Nov. 1.

Not giving yourself much time to find the right place. With that window I’m guessing you are going to rent. Good luck!

I hope you can send us some picture after you get moved in.

Coffee on a rainy day is such a pleasure. Getting wet is not in the plans but a hot cup of coffee with some Swiss Miss chocolate in it is a good start for the day.

Good morning. Coffee on any morning is a pleasure HOWEVER it might be a tad better on a rainy morning
and a tad more so with Swiss Miss (without marshmallows, of course)

...roadrunners...

Funny, when Nana's mom got here from New York (50 years ago!) she couldn't remember the name of that bird when she saw it. She ended up blurting out, "Oh look, it's a Street Walker!"

LOL!! The Dr. told ‘em to get Nana (at age 2) to a dryer climate or lose her. So they packed up the station wagon and moved to Phoenix. No job, no place to live, only a desire to save their baby.

It all worked out, of course, due in no small part to the large Italian-American community in Phoenix. As well, her uncle had already been there for awhile. He was a guard at a POW camp in the desert south of Phoenix along the Gila River during WWII.
