and viewing this from a practical standpoint, based in reality,

when will NPR/PBS have their government funding taken away for not hiring conservatives and christians and anyone who doesn’t believe and promote the liberal worldview?

the answer is as it is now, never. So your solution to roll it back isn’t going to happen because nobody’s going to do that.

Why are they getting special “tax credits” in any case? They should pay the same taxes, no more and no less, than any other business that has X amount of revenue and Y amount of expenses.

Great question...but follow the money. That usually points toward crony capitalism at work.

So it is okay for those organizations funded by government to have discriminatory hiring practices

Third time saying this; It's not OK. Defund 'em.

government has long seen benefits from helping to have businesses there, as well as the benefits of having christians in their communities.

When some Islamic group wants tax money for "The Sharia Law Experience" theme park (and you know it's coming) I'll be against it. Will you?

i will too. there are no, and never have been, any long-standing, well-known benefits to having muslims in our communities. but to say that govt can’t recognize that christians benefit their communities far more than muslims do is denying reality. to say both are religions are a stretch, as muslims are a theocratic autocracy. there’s no distinction between govt and religion with islam. islam is a threat to this nation’s political system because they’ll use our govt until they’re powerful enough to overthrow it.

show me where the vast majority of devout christians in this country have as a fundamental belief of overthowing govt to replace it with some kind of christian theocracy equivalent, and then maybe i’ll lump christians in the same category and threat level as islam/muslims.

this is a christian founded country and our laws reflect that. jefferson fought like hell against islam and the damned barbary pirates. this whole muslims have always been a great contribuitng part of america is complete and utter bs.

The Constitution doesn't mention God, Jesus or Christianity. Jefferson was a Deist. As far as the Barbary Pirates go, here is the relevant part of our treaty with Tripoli:

Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen [Muslims]; and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan [Muslim] nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.
