No need for actual disinformation. When positive native Ebola cases go into the emergency room in flu season, the first thing they will ask is if they have been to Africa or been around someone with Ebola. If they say no, then they are out in the street, fever or not. If they say yes, then they go into the contact tracing queue and examination room full of African immigrants and others who made contact with African immigrants. 99% of those in the waiting room will have flu. It will take hours to get the test results and even those won't be super accurate.

One thing that will unnecessarily fill the waiting room will be white people with the flu. In order to satisfy political correctness they won't allow an all-black waiting room. So some whites with fever and maybe an Ebola contact or maybe not will get tossed in. Granted they won't have to touch anyone in the waiting room and 99% of the people in the waiting room will have flu, not Ebola.

So there will be no need for actual disinformation because bad information will be created automatically by this system. That bad information will include false positives (you white guys with no Ebola), false negatives (Africans let out to infect other people) and a melange of rumors, innuendo, charges of racism, etc. Eventually some sane politicians (even Democrats can have moments of sanity) will end the influx. By then it may be too late to control completely. I don't think the virus will ever spiral out of control here, but it could take residence in some slums where people have a chance to spread before the authorities can find them.

I left out the most important fact: innocent Americans will die. Maybe not a lot, but any is too many when this is entirely preventable.

I don't think it will spiral out of control either but we are a pretty mobile society and people aren't going to want to be locked up when they aren't sick so there will be lies. Some people just plain don't or won't know and will be caught off guard.

There will be loss of control of carriers who are out there. Probably are some already in our very mobile society.

The man in Texas who turned up sick today, maybe not ebola or maybe we won't tell the truth. Hard to keep it under wraps though.
