Sadly, I think this is a good thing.

I heard a report a couple days ago that he had died, but was unconfirmed at that time. Is this for real?

Prayers for his family. It may help deter Ebola tourism, if there’s any upside whatsoever.

If he was white they would have save him. /sarc.

We knew this was coming. It’s going to raise the fear factor among the public and make it a lot harder for Precedent Obola to continue allowing travelers from infected countries to enter the U.S.

I will always feel bad for the person and their family/friends, but this guy knowingly lied on is way our of Liberia and brought this disease into the country.
I agree. We have to hope he didn’t pass it on to anyone else and his passing means the end of the problem - for now.

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt disappointment that we must inform you of the death of Thomas Eric Duncan this morning at 7:51 a.m. Mr. Duncan succumbed to an insidious disease, Ebola. He fought courageously in this battle. Our professionals, the doctors and nurses in the unit, as well as the entire Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas community, are also grieving his passing. We have offered the family our support and condolences at this difficult time.

The good news is, this will discourage 1000's of infected Africans from seeking to come to America for a miracle cure.
But the bad news is.....

He’s been clinically dead for at least 72 hours..sustained only by artificial means and racking up hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills for the sake of allaying public fears. Let’s face it, this guy was marked down for dead by the time he was admitted.
I expect more propaganda from Tom Freiden and attention-whoring from Jesse Jackson in T minus 5.
