I guess the mascot will be out of a job. I'm a Steelers fan. It was a lame stunt, but I wasn't offended at all.

People need to lighten up.

“It was a JOKE.”

Yeah, but a stupid one that they should have known would be trouble

Sure there is if some left wing nut steps over the line they use it as an excuse and start to accuse the opposition on not having a sense of humour.

The NFL has to get over this “apologizing” thing. Nothing turns football fans off more than PC BS.

The hits are supposed to be hard, the girls are supposed to be half nekkid and the language is supposed to be crude. It’s football.

If we want to be bored by a bunch of delicate flower sissyboys, we’ll watch soccer.

The whole point of trolling the other team is to make stupid and offensive jokes at their expense. Frankly, the Ebola joke is pretty mild and inoffensive.

It was a lame stunt...

So what? Apologize for WHAT? It was dark humor at its finest (or worst, whatever)

FWIW, on a cruise ship working to avoid a Norvovirus outbreak, they'll hand people coming onboard or getting food a warm towel, untouched by anyone, to wipe your hands, then not use it again until cleaned and sanitized. Towels DO spread disease!

If I were a Steelers fan I would have retorted with, “At least our owner isn’t a Muslim.”

I wonder from where the Steelers got their uniform ideas.
