DUNKIN' DONUTS CEO: AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS WILL 'STIMULATE THE ECONOMY'
Breitbart ^

Posted on 10/06/2014 6:16:07 AM PDT by bryan999

On Monday, Dunkin' Brands CEO Nigel Travis said all of the country's illegal immigrants should be legalized.

In an interview on Fox Business, Travis said that comprehensive amnesty legislation "would bring about 11 million more people into the economy." He claimed it "would be a stimulus" because "there's a lot of people who want to work but can't work legally."

Travis also stated that it was "totally appropriate" that there is "a lot of pressure" to make sure "people who work are legal."

"So let's legalize those people," he concluded. "And I think it will stimulate the economy because they'll have the opportunity to earn great wages."

I’ve never understood why CEOs take positions on public policy. Cause now I’m gonna treat DD like a liberal does Chick-Fil-A.

This treasonous prick has sold his last donut to me. He may have just destroyed the franchise.

I can hope so.

Of course!

They LIVE on that garbage.

In the morning when I buy gas, there are always about 7 or 8 of them in line ahead of me with huge rolls of cash paying for their gas and buying every conceivable kind of junk food for their breakfast and lunch on their way to their 'jobs' In about 10 or twenty years, when their health is destroyed by this crap, we will get to pick up the tab for their premature doctors' and dentists' bills TOO!!

Just think how many more customers a business would have if they legalized shoplifters? It has to be thousands!

"there's a lot of people who want to work but can't work legally."

Yeah. That must be why the labor force participation rate is at an all time low.

What exactly would happen if millions if unemployed Americans decided to go and "stimulate" the economy of Mexico?

Another corporatist looking out for his bottom line at the expense of the US taxpayer.

If they get amnesty, will they be getting the $15 per hour the libs are pushing for too?

It really doesn’t matter the issue, sooner or later, the libs get there way. Once they get there way, it never changes.

This nation will have to push the “reset button” one day soon because it is going to collapse.

Excellent point. If these people are the catalyst for a booming economy, why did they find it necessary to leave their home countries in search of a better life?

Why aren't their home countries' economies booming?

Or are they just being noble. Leaving their comfortable lives in order to improve ours.
