Sure it can be spread by mosquitos....and flies, fleas, bedbugs, etc.
How? We tend to over think it. We want it to be some internal life cycle of the virus that is then expelled by the insect.
Instead, just think about feet, bodies, mouths, mandibles, whatever.
Since the article already says the virus is in every bodily fluid imaginable, and since insects walk around on one person, and then fly to another person, then they are carriers of that virus on their feet, bodies, etc., to the next victim.
Because the article also says that the virus can live for some time outside the body in those bodily fluids.
Then it would seem that our apolitical CDC does not want scientific research on this subject. Certainly a definitive answer, derived through scientific rigor, does not meet their meme.
That ALONE should tell the world that yes, this virus is transmitted via insects. Otherwise they would cite several reams of research which proves it CANNOT.
If an Ebola patient is IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, you and your family are at risk.
Thanks for the info!
Ping!
“Unlike respiratory illnesses like measles or chickenpox, which can be transmitted by virus particles that remain suspended in the air after an infected person coughs or sneezes, Ebola is transmitted by direct contact with body fluids of a person who has symptoms of Ebola disease.”
This is an idiot inference. “Remain suspended”—a cough emits particle into the air that do not “remain” suspended, but sure as hell can transmit Ebola. So all this chatter about “airborne” is splitting hairs on definitions.
Place those cough particulates in an environment of moving air, and the suspension can be extended. Airplane ventilation is a perfect example.
So while not technically defined as an “airborne” transmitted problem, Ebola can without a doubt be transmitted airborne!!!
It's as if they just said, "A cough or sneeze cannot transmit ebola, however, a cough or a sneeze can transmit ebola."
Honestly , I dont think that they (CDC) know for sure, because it hasn't yet been tested ; their staff are already spread thinly.
Already , there is talk from the White Hut blaming Ebola on Republicans for shorting the CDC budget as a result of sequestration. It's BS , but still an argueing point.
Ebola can be transmitted by live virus in cough dropletts, or fomites on hard inannimate objects.
Unknown is whether insects (mosquitoes, flies, fleas, etc.)collect enough fomites to infect a human since it hasn't yet been tested.
It is known that dogs, feeding on diseased, dead bodies are asymptomatological; they do not conract the disease, but can carry fomites to their owners homes.
Short of Quarantine and isolation, the only other known treatment is disinfectant (ie: water /bleach at a rate 90% water: 10% bleech), betadine, etc..
WOW. Not good.
He may have contracted the virus while spray-washing a car that had carried someone who later died of Ebola

Haha, good point!
Uh, yeah. Well it was suppressed last week? I-ya, ok.
Thank you for the info. Yeah, I suspected he was kind of nuts too.
