I am beyond ticked at this Administration (as you can probably tell). The word is out to flood America and we can do nothing and won’t do anything to stop it. This is the vision of the progressives. (of course living in a hello-hole won’t apply to them. they just want us to) A poem by a woman that is carved into the Statue of Liberty is not US law. Too many young people don’t know that. I see no end to this. The Govt. has been to overwhelmed and infiltrated. This won’t have a good outcome. Diseases that were eradicated and not in the middle class are back. Things that I didn’t have to be checked for as a kid, the public schools have to check for now. I don’t trust this Administration. They don’t work for this Country, but we pay their salary. Too many Americans are struggling to stay afloat. I am compassionate, I have nothing now, not one darn dime, when I was lower middle class, I donated every spare nickle I could. But I believe that we owe American citizens help first.

I would expand that to not just Liberians...but anyone who was in the infected zone or could have been...Including the NGO’s, WHO, CDC...anyone...
It would take many weeks, perhaps months to trainup a staff to take care of these people. You would have to provide them with three square meals a day, provide them with monitoring medically, twice per day, provide them with masks, gloves and hospital gowns to prevent inter contamination...It will take time....

Duncan’s half brother, here in Phoenix, Az was interviewed by KTAR. It may just be a language barrier, but he said that Duncan was “tested” in Liberia and he didn’t have Ebola. Unless he meant “tested” was saying yes or no on a form. That doesn’t seem like competent screening at all. Anyone that could afford an airline ticket and wasn’t throwing up all over the Monrovia airport, and wanted to get the heck out of Liberia would say “no” on that form. (my rant now at no one but this Administration and the enablers in congress. not ranting to you “no-to-illegals”) The Govt. let thousands of sick Illegals flood the border. They were visibly sick. This Administration does not care. They do not work for us. I can’t imagine the thought process of anyone but the Illegal Immigrant Lobby or the skin color Lobby supporting this Administration.

Yeah...I agree that there is a political aspect to theis...PC thinking...by progressive liberals..there is no doubt of it..
On the other hand, we are developing a response via our military in the affected area and I believe that to be just as important to do and ramp up as fast as we can take it up so that we can gain some control over this African outbreak, in order to save our own in the long term..
If we don’t and it grows much bigger than it is now...Nobody will be able to stop it and it will eventually jump out of Africa like a spreading forest fire.
So both are important.
I had hoped that the Africans would do better, but that is not happening..The people are far too ignorant (not their fault) and they don’t trust their authorities either.
They just can’t get a handle on it with what little they have and we and the rest of the West, need to help in a big way.

There has not been a need for a daily flight from Liberia...ever.....at least not in my memory...and as you can see..none of these Liberian issues have anything to do with that flight..
I might try to buy a ticket and see if it really is a commercial flight, or if it’s a UN Bus...

Late to the thread, but “many unaccompanied minors” from Liberia? Could this be more of Obama’s plan to flood the country with unscreened minors who are immediately enrolled in the public schools before they can have any health care? If so, he is truly evil and now desperately trying to bring down the country before enough people wake up. By any chance, does anyone know of any media reports of unaccompanied Liberian minors?

Since you find that flight to be so interesting, I wonder if you might be familiar enough to figure out where that flight came from to get to the airport in Liberia...
I am not at all familiar with this flight data software. It seems to be a from/to flight to JFK, so did it dead head back, or did it make a long round trip to get to Liberia..?
