Since you find that flight to be so interesting, I wonder if you might be familiar enough to figure out where that flight came from to get to the airport in Liberia...

I am not at all familiar with this flight data software. It seems to be a from/to flight to JFK, so did it dead head back, or did it make a long round trip to get to Liberia..?

You can get flight history from flightradar24.com:

This one includes the aircraft's identifier. The same plane isn't used every time, but you can see the pattern: there's a revenue flight (Delta 478) to Liberia, then it returns to JFK (Delta 479).
