Makes sense.
I watched NCIS NOLA this week and very good...
What, is this a politician actually standing up and saying something sensible?
It is therefore up to other countries to ban flights from Liberia.
That said, Duncan did have a visa. We shouldn't be giving out those!
Stunning!
Actually, even a lefty weirdo congressman here in Florida, Alan Grayson, the most lefty of the left and a devotee of Obama, called for a halt to flights.
I think we need that, but we also need a quarantine on any visitors from those countries or even any people who have traveled there.
This could get interesting, since Obama has been putting morons in high places for the last 6 years based on the color of their skin and the shape of their genitals.
Saudi Arabia has banned travel to Mecca for the pilgrimage from countries affected by Ebola.
That would be Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guniea (not sure of Nigeria is included ).
Yup. This is "we have to do something!" grandstanding at its worst.
they stopped flights to Israel a lot faster and for a lot less
Any and all people from these areas who get Ebola and who can afford it, will get on a plane to the USA IMMEDIATELY.
We need to ban travel from these areas.
Well, don't just SAY it... DO IT!
WHERE are the LEADERS?
We have all the PONTIFICATORS we can handle.
RE: Well, don’t just SAY it... DO IT!
What authority does the governor of Louisiana have over foreign travel policy?
Absolutely but that’s not sufficient. The southern border needs to be locked down. If anybody thinks ISIS is not paying attention they are nuts.
NONE!
My point: For 6 years we've heard TALK, TALK, TALK, ( PONTIFICATION Exceptionale')
I'm waiting for the TALK to stop and SOMEONE to LEAD in terms of trying to get America back to the main road we were once on.
They shouldn’t be allowing anyone with passports from or marked from those countries in. The lack of direct flights isn’t an issue.
Its about time some of these possible 2016 presidential contenders started to step up. Rand Paul has. All flights from the 4 hardest hit countries should be stopped until further notice.
You can (or could) book a 1-stop from Monrovia to Jeddah via Casablanca. Most flights are two or three stops, e.g., to Madrid via Casablanca, stay overnight, then fly to Jeddah with a stop in Rome.
Obviously, the Saudis are checking national origin, not banning flights.
ROB is a pretty dead airport. Today, FlightStats shows two departures, to Brussels and to Accra.
Yesterday was slightly more interesting: One flight to Casablanca and one flight to Trenton(!), the latter being part of the Ebola relief effort, apparently.
