“Probably not. Friends of mine on the USS America busted up a prostitution ring lead by some female Marines from their squadron. Each girl had made about 10 grand each float.”

Somehow that didn’t make the news, not even Stars and Stripes.

How’d that happen. I’m sure I would have read that story when it came out.

Seriously, all prospective female volunteers for Sub duty should be required to tour a SSN that has just returned from a 6 month WestPac cruise. You can smell the funk 200 yards away.

I don’t know. I just took my Cub Scouts on a tour of a submarine in Alameda, CA one time and noticed how small the forward bunks were. I also know that there is a height restriction for the Navy due to the SS. One of my neighbor sons, who was very tall, was retricted from Annapolis and had to go to West Point.

For non boomer boats quarters are tight. Hot bunking on spec ops in fast attacks is SOP. And we all thought “Operaion Petty Coat” was a comedy.

The Navy plans to begin putting senior enlisted female sailors on submarines in December
That will go over big with the other Senior Chiefs who've spent years in the service. Fun and games in gthe goat locker during deployment. Another brilliant attempt to reduce the testostorne level by Preezy Zero. Actually feminaization of the military began under "W."

I worked with a guy that worked intelligence in the USN as a Arabic translator. He told me that there was still rampant prostitution on the carriers. Those that were not paid to service guys were lesbians licking each other’s clams.

Never heard of it when I was serving. And we can’t stand up an office without giving it something to do, so... *sigh*
