First it was the Cyber-Warriors For Obama, trying to stalk people online.

Now, it's ISIS.

Oh please. This would end very badly for every camel humper in America. It would be open season.

I would hope that if this ever happened that family members get attacked, that our military would be allowed to take the hell of war to the enemy. A nice hope anyway.

I’d be getting out the pig fat if I was on patrol after this.

If I got discharged... well, then I could protect my family.

Would it? Truly? The way that PC has beaten people down, with the fear of being called “racist”, would any more than a handful resist?

During the 1980s the SAS envied our ability to live openly and wear unit labelled T-shirts and military identifiers in public, in America, without worrying about being exposed to attack.

With the unprecedented degree to which muslims are a protected class in this country? Very unlikely.

I don’t know but I can hope. IMO the majority of Americans are tepid and followers, that is why public opinion is easily swayed. Some jihadists start beheading military family members (esp children) and a few of us take out the trash, the rest will follow once it starts.

Do we have any doubt ISIS would be mining those databases for the information they're seeking? I don't.. and I also don't doubt there are some Obama supporters who would readily give that information up, as well.

And the military is getting ever more restrictive on private firearms in military housing. Let’s leave them all defenseless, just like at Ft. Hood.

It is time for that to change with or without approval.

There is absolutely NO reason to become sitting ducks.

Tell the boys constantly to scrub their social media.
No PII.

Don’t accept unknown friends.

These kids are growing up in a Facebook world.
It’s going to bite us at some point.

An op will be compromised, a family member will get Cindy Sheehan at their door... or worse yet, an actual bad guy will make a move.

Shut it down. Lock it up. You don’t need 1500 fake friends.

Almost had an argument with my wife on a recent vacation... set a rule.. no “checking in” from anywhere out of town, no posting pics til we get home, no status or board updates. Private messages, preferably an actual normal text, or nothing.

The social media craze has become such an ingrained part of life... common sense fails. Sure, let’s just tell the world we’re 3000 miles from home. The dogs and the house sitter would love some company.

Think about this... we all have that one friend or family member who runs in the wrong crowd. Well all of their low life friends communicate on social media, count on it. And all of those folks are just 2 clicks from seeing everything you post. The druggies, the thieves, the derelict... it’s not just the identity theft crowd, or the jihadist, it is all of them.... from the guy who ‘just’ wants to steal your kid’s bike for a weekend rock to the guy who would slit your wive’s throat while shouting allahua akbar. And every piece of scum in between. Everything you post is just a click away.

And if you think Facebook’s privacy settings will save you, think of them like the old school 3ft front yard white picket fence... all it does is keep the honest people honest.

LEO’s and FEDGOV don’t have enough resources to account for the thousands of “lone wolves” who would exact retribution for any attack on a servicemember or their families...

They are protected only because of the media and FEDGOV...but an attack on a military family is crossing the rubicon...x10

I worry that those families living overseas might get targeted.
