Liberia to Prosecute Man Who Brought Ebola to US

Liberian authorities say they plan to prosecute the man infected with Ebola who brought the disease to the United States, saying he lied on his airport health questionnaire.

With an Ebola crisis raging in West Africa, passengers leaving Liberia are being screened for fever and are asked if they have had contact with anyone infected.

On the questionnaire obtained by The Associated Press, Thomas Eric Duncan answered 'no' to those questions.

Neighbors say Duncan had helped a sick pregnant woman who later died of the disease. Her illness at the time was believed to be pregnancy-related.

Binyah Kesselly, chairman of the board of directors of the Liberia Airport Authority, told reporters Thursday that Duncan will be prosecuted when he returns to Liberia.

So Liberia is now more competent in terms of border control than WE are....

That is so very sad....

That's why it took three people to hold her on the trip to the hospital.

Sorry, this doesn't even pass the laugh test (not that I think it is funny at all).

If he survives. This sort of prosecution sounds kind of toothless in the face of a life or death choice, but at least it may tamp down Ebola tourism to the US among people seeking treatment.

The guy will say her vomiting blood seemed to be a typical pregnancy complication.

Liberia will prosecute him, and Obama will celebrate him as a poor, victimized illegal!

Man this world is screwed up!

“Liberia to Prosecute Man Who Brought Ebola to US”

Not sure he’s going to make it to trial.

I’m cynical enough to believe that he will never return to Liberia. He will ask for asylum here and he will be allowed to stay.

So our nation health policy is dependent on people answering honestly on a form? They must have stolen that from our national security policy.

You watch: Now he will become a refugee of conscience and we will not only grant him instant amnesty, set up a diversity center named for him and name several elementary schools after him, but there will be Democrat bills advanced in at least 11 states outlawing parents keeping their children home from school “if it can be determined with reasonable certainty” that said parents did so out of fear of Ebola, “especially if the local Ebola outbreak appears to have originated with a validated refugee of another nation who has been given amnesty”. Meanwhile, an entire new class of governmental employee will be set up for more and more such refugees of conscience. They will get free medical care for life, immediate pension vesting from day #1 of their employment to the their third generation of offspring, and automatic amnesty for any 23 relatives they may designate from their native country or any other country they may designate as long as they are not white.

There will be no upper limit on the stupidity that arises out of this, as long as it can be used to cover the astounding incompetence of this administration.
