War On Terror: As we send the president's maligned "farmers and pharmacists" to boot camp in Saudi Arabia, 400,000 Kurds in northern Syria are being set up for extinction by the Islamic State and our NATO ally Turkey.
We have noted how the early pleas of the Kurdish forces in Iraq, known as the Peshmerga, fell on deaf ears in the White House as the Islamic State prepared and trained for its "sudden" advance. Maybe the pleas were contained in the half of the Presidential Daily Briefings that President Obama is said to have not read.
The Kurds, protecting themselves primarily with vintage Russian weapons from the Saddam Hussein era, were being outgunned by the Islamic State, which has captured U.S. weapons at its disposal.
"Let Washington know how serious the situation is and how big of a need we have for military support," Masrour Barzani, the Kurds' intelligence and security chief, pleaded. "We are left out to fight all these terrorists, all these problems on our own."

The Muslim Brotherhood and Syrian Rebels(a lot of them now ISIS) .... Have some weapons...

Then why would The Administration help them?

This is deplorable. First, Bush wins the Iraq War than fails to take advantage of his victory. Now Obama is throwing away what was gained and kept. We should arm the Kurds.
Obama is the antichrist. Following his terma US President, he will become the Caliph of ISW, the Islamic State of the World, which B.Hussein is working feverishly to create, all the time proclaiming he is against extremism.
The free world long ago determined that the Kurds were of no “strategic value”.
Alas.
Anyone else remember when Iraqi Kurds were running newspaper and TV ads saying “Thank you USA”??
I remember that. An amazing thing to see. What I have never heard are any horror stories about the Kurds. They are ready and willing to fight terrorists so give them anything they ask for ASAP.

This is a total disgrace - unfathomable outrage that the Obama administration would turn a deaf ear to the Kurds like they have.
Yes.
Every time you turn around it is another total disaster.
We keep this up they will become our sworn enemies - as having betrayed them.
They seem like the only ones over than are remotely trustworthy, they should have had their own state. “Iraq” was invented by the British and it’s a failure as a nation.
I hear ISIS buries families alive. So much unspeakable suffering because Obama played politics, and pulled our peace-keeping troops out.
