Why the CDC Won't Release the Ebola Patient's Flight Itinerary
ABC News ^ | October 1, 2014 | By MEGHAN KENEALLY

The flight information for the Ebola patient diagnosed in Texas will not be released by health officials because "It's just not necessary," a spokesperson at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told ABC News.

"If we need to contact passengers we have a way. We'd call ourselves," the CDC spokesperson said.

How about releasing the flight info and not the passenger list? What’s wrong with releasing the flight number, date, etc.?

[ Did you know you can book a flight from Freetown, Sierra Leone to JFK for just $1,800? Right now. You could be spreading Ebola across America in less than a day’s travel time. ]

Some ROPer cabbie could take a weekend vacation over there, pick it up then fly back and start using their own bodily fluids by mixing it into a washed out frebreeze bottle, then befopre pickiing up each new fare they could spreay down the stread and hands rails with the “febreeze” bottle....

In New York it would be devastating...

(not giving any ideas here, but if I can spitball soemthing horribler in a few minutes, think what someone with more time and who is evil could think of)

The weasel at the CDC have a professional duty and a moral ( if not an actual legal) obligation to notify the passengers on those flights, if for no other reason to encourage them to self-report.

As with the other minions of this regime, the CDC
is acting in a purely political fashion. This would be cause for revoking a professional license in other arenas, for starters.

The thing this approach accomplishes is destroying the public’s trust in this and other government agencies; and ultimately in this form of government.

All according to plan...

And how many airports did he lay over in? Possibly for hours, eating in restaurants and shopping in gift shops for his kids?..................

There are actually a lot of flights to choose among, if he made a connection in Brussels.

Hey Obama, please immediately:

1. Suspend all flights to and from any country that has had one recent case of Ebola.

2. Immediately quarantine, per your CDC guidelines, anyone exposed to the disease.

These are basic Public Health prevention measures right out of the book.

Failure to carry out 1. and 2. is clear dereliction of duty.

Waiting for an announcement today.

His PC morality overrides all else.

It would stigmatize the people and the country that the patient came from if he made any such identification,

so he can’t do that. The patient is most likely non-white, so that makes it even more imperative that he and his country not be stigmatized.

I’m going to post this comment, for all of its worthlessness, on the Texas Ebola thread as well: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3209934/posts

Texas has a state health department and one of the world’s premier health establishments plus two huge university based medical education systems. Texas, when ranked with the world’s nations, is a contender in the nation class without the CDC.

Governor Perry has a chance to show the nation and the world what he is made of. State powers trump federal powers and, unless I am horribly mistaken, the state can do just about anything the feds can so long as the actions are taken within the borders of the State of Texas.

Let’s see it Rick. Let’s see if you have what it takes to be President. Show the world.

The truth is, he’s jeopardizing your life so he doesn’t have to hurt some Third World politician’s feelings.

Exactly right. The gubbermint was crapping bricks over the threat of small pox/anthrax after 9/11 and rightly so.... At least those WMDs were either preventable or curable and impossible to find for your average Islamo Icehole. Not so with Obola as you so eloquently pointed out.

Ebola is a WMD. If an attack happens, we need to put every politician and buearucrat that gave visas to terrorists, promoted open borders or sat on their hands in an Obola quarantine tent.

How many flights from Brussels to Dulles in a day? Less than a dozen, probably less than 6.

The hilarious part - Dallas-Fort Worth airport has been moving unaccompanied minors (UACs) on just an INS letter and sending them all over the country, spreading the Entero-virus native to Central America.
Now they could be spreading ebola nationwide, as they’ve already spread entero-virus (which now has a few polio-like paralysis cases) to 30+ states.

So how can we trust the CDC to manage ebola, when they’ve already let entero-virus spread?

Oh, and TB exposure to several hundred people in Dallas already due to an illegal immigrant working in the hospital.

It's Dallas (DFW), not Dulles. And there are lots of options when connections that save money are included.

The arrogant ass spokesperson for the CDC is a typical arrogant government "worker" who deigns you not worth his time or effort. The smarmy bum should be fired (as should many, many more of these parasites). I'd like to take a moment of silence to thank the Clown Prince nobama anti-American administration for bringing ebola to America. Thanks a lot. May you enjoy the deaths you have caused.

Let’s encourage the CDC spokesperson to go visit the person in Dallas and talk with them in the same room. No need to “suit-up” since you can’t get it unless you touch them.

There’s no point to the general public knowing that. They can contact the people on the flights without making it general knowledge, which will just get people in a tizzy.
