Secret Service Director Julia Pierson House should be ousted from her job, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday, agreeing with the recommendation of the top Democrat on the oversight committee.
Mrs. Pelosi, the highest-ranking woman in American politics, said problems go beyond Ms. Pierson, who was put in charge of the Secret Service after a scandal involving agents who hired prostitutes in Cartagena in 2012. But Mrs. Pelosi said she accepts the analysis of Rep Elijah Cummings, the ranking Democrat on the House oversight committee, who said he was displeased with Ms. Pierson’s leadership.

They’re going to throw this one under the bus, but she reflects a much deeper problem that pre-dates her tenure at the SS.
I think the biggest problem is probably morale. Obama has been contemptuous to them from the start, but they’re also very PC and tightly controlled from the WH. Someone posted here that Obama actually has his own privately paid security force that accompanies him everywhere, although I don’t know if that’s true and I haven’t heard anybody in congress ask about it (and you’d think they’d know). In any case, I thnk they’re probably at rock bottom in the SS.

As bad as Pierson is (and she is BAD), compared to the card-carrying idiots Nanny Pelosi and Elijah Cummings she is a Rock Star.
I would point this out....a lot of the poor management seen in the Secret Service...involves guys who were brought in during the Clinton-era and are managers today. They lacked certain skills and simply got picked up as ‘favors’.
The more appropriate suggestion would be to fire Pierson, and the next three individuals after her. Then I’d go to the top twenty managers left and offer early retirement to them.
Cummings was upset because Pierson called Rep John Mica privately for advice. I watched the hearing and Cummings went batshi^t when he learned about it. The Dems believe the bureaucracy belongs to them. They won’t truck anyone who doesn’t believe that. Pierson crossed the line and must be removed.
Welcome to the underside of Obama’s bus. If they can’t show that she is MORE incompetent than all of the other people still working for this administration it’s really not fair to fire her.

But back in 2012 San Fran Nan was all liquored up on the idea of Pierson — She was in love with her and the idea of her back then. Nan are you being fickle?
This is happening only becasue it is five weeks to Election Day.
The Dems need to look tough on security issues.
If this was any other time, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein and the NOW hags would be up in arms for picking on the saintly director of the SS.
