My Uncle’s favorite cologne: “Evening in a Barnyard”.

I wouldn’t have thought a Chrysler would GO 140. Unless you pushed it off a really high cliff.

I had my 2002 Porsche 996 twin turbo up to 155 when my wife told me she was “uncomfortable”. On the Autobahn, in Germany I was a mere novice doing 250 km/hr. Most of the good drivers are cruising at 300 km/hr. About (188 mph)

Not at night, good visibility and where there is no posted speed limit.

I just thought of something...maybe my wife didn’t like my cologne.

My wife had an epileptic fit when I pushed our Trabant to 45 MPH. But maybe that was because of the fumes.

THAT’s one I forgot! Good catch! And Canoe. I’m having olfactory hallucinations, smelling each of them, now.

Thanks for visiting my great state, Montana!

Minnesota liberals are fools, some of them are my in-laws...

Sigh.

I recall one day in a grocery store in my town (in Montana)...

My wife and I were shopping, mid morning, we ran into some friends that I really couldn’t recognize and relate to appropriately in an appropriate amount of time.

I apologized to them and mentioned to them that at this time yesterday I was driving a Mercedes on the autobahn in Germany and I was a bit jet-lagged.

It was a fun statement to make...

Too windy to make your speed but I was flyin’

Sometimes when people are really scared, they smell pretty strong too.

I drive an elantra 2013. They will do 155 in the US(electronic limiting). I hear they go faster in Korea where they are built with no limiters in them. That new hybrid 6 speed transmission is sweet. Now I never took it up that fast but I read in California they ticketed a man in an Elantra doing just that. They only caught him because the electronic limiter shut the engine down. A Hyundai elantra? I couldn’t believe it but experts in the know swear to me it’s true!

Then there was day on I 95 I was in a crowded ‘traffic box’ and wanted to pull away a bit to help open up some congestion...I was at 70 plus and cars were crowded a bit behind, left and right as well...must have been day dreaming a bit when I did it because somehow after five minutes I was over 100 mph in 6th gear and the tachometer was just over the 3500 line with barely a strain in the car...it was just that smooth. The suspension lowers the faster you go and the handling seems to improve as opposed to being spongy. Hyundai has come a long way since the early 90’s when all they built for the US were throw away cars!

I was a little kid when I saw the bottle and decided I had to give it to my father for Christmas. He unwrapped it, and acted like I’d given him the world. :)
