The Pa. deer must be closely related to the California
black tail which are not very big at all. Mule tail are
few and located in very specific areas.

We have some humungous Whitetails here in Northern Ohio. A friend shot one in another friends cornfield. He couldn’t move it, and didn’t what to do next, so he called me. I gutted it out in the field, and it still took both of us to drag it to the barn. We hung it on the barn scale, and, even gutted, it weighed more than 200 pounds! Mark didn’t want the gutz, but I went back out and got the heart and the huge liver. Fresh corn-fed deer liver,,,,,,,AWESOME!
