93% of blacks voted in 2012 for a known stone cold racist. I’ll ignore the 08 election. But 2012 should tell everyone that blacks OVERWHELMINGLY are perfectly fine with a President and AG who is getting back at whites via violence and Federal LE intimidation.

I think the problem in 2012 is that Romney's candidacy did not offer a clear alternative. He wouldn't even campaign for the "lower 47"%.

To switch someone's vote, there has to be a coherent reason why the alternative will be better, not just different.

I think Romney made a mistake. If he had picked up just 10% or so minority and lower middle class outliers, he would've won, I suspect.

I'll take it down to the Cleveland level. A message about how a Romney presidency would've helped self-employed and small business succeed and grow would've worked.
