Well,at least wait until the first one dies (of natural causes) and then the survivor can weigh his/her options.

If my Dad had killed himself 10 years before he actually died (of natural causes) he would have left me and my siblings a fair chunk of $$$.But his last years were difficult ones and cost a lot of money.As a result he left very little behind.All four of us are glad to have had those extra 10 years regardless of what they might have "cost" us.

I'd bet that *their* kids would rather have the $$$.

It's understandable to me too. I have the same fears as this couple.
