NO.
Amherst left used blankets in a storehouse.
THE INDIANS STOLE THEM— as they were wont to do.
The “germ theory” in medicine came in a century or so later.
Could we pause for a moment to thank all LIB idiots who continue to offer the germ-filled degenerates “sanctuary” in this country? Thanks a lot, you naive fools.
I couldn’t agree more. The anti-vaccine crowd has to be $hittin’ in their knickers.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Thanks for clarifying that. When did doctors begin washing their hands because they learned about germs? Late 1800’s
Oddly enough, I can’t yet blame this on Obama, because of the nature of the virus.
In the genus of Enterovirus, there are 68 different types that infect humans, that freely swap genetic material. 64 of them cause non-polio symptoms, one of the most annoying being the Rhinovirus that causes common cold symptoms.
This particular Enterovirus, number 68 out of more than a hundred known human and non-human Enterovirus viruses, has been known since 1962, in California. Seen as a minor pathogen, it rarely infected children almost all of which had asthma.
So the bottom line is that E68 likely did a gene swap with one of its kin, making it much more communicable. This sort of thing happens all the time.
N.B.: Pathogenic respiratory viruses are far less likely to be a problem in Mexico, central and northern South America because of the higher temperatures and UV radiation. Flu epidemics in Mexico are far rarer than they are here, for example. Bacteria are another matter.
Hope they had sense enough to check the kids' asthma inhalers for contamination. This is seeming more and more like the Tylenol tampering.
TYPHOID BARRY!
He contaminates, corrupts, infects and destroys EVERYTHING and EVERYONE he (along with his "policies") touches. Tagline
Thanks for the ping!
Thy say it lasts for about 10 years, so even those who got it in 1970 have lost their immunity.
I use to collect autographs, I have his autography framed and on the wall of my parlor.
I’m not anti-vaccine but I’m glad they are or have removed the preservative thimerosal, which contained mercury.
