Must be the same people who've been "fixing" Obamacare.

Don’t have a problem with my Charter cable service.

Why does Comcast need a new customer relation honcho to fix theirs?

I have no connection with Comcast except that they provide me with cable service. I have no complaints about Comcast. Their service is world’s better than Time-Warner/Roadrunner and AT&T DSL. Comcast had an agreement with Time/Warner in this area and ‘shared’ the area. When Comcast took the reins and booted Time-Warner/Roadrunner out of the area, Comcast got to work and cleared all of the issues, tout suite! On top of that, we are rarely without service.

Worst customer service on earth. They remind me of the Post Office. Comcast has close to a monopoly, so they treat customers like dirt. No customer appreciation at all. I can’t describe how much they suck.
My 88 year old Dad who can hardly walk got a new little HD TV. He called them to get a little converter box. What did comcast do? They drop a big ass box of all kinds of crap but what he wanted and made sure to charge him for it first thing. He managed to get someone to put that box in his car, drove up to their local center, and they had moved.

Good Gawd they are rude.

I don’t like talking to customer service reps in India/Philippines/BFEgypt when I have a problem with my intertubes here in Dallas.

Comcast is fine till you want to cancel service. Not long ago, I tried to cancel my Internet and phone. The rep kept trying to talk me out of it. I finally told her if she was unwilling to cancel my service, I wanted to speak to someone who was....like maybe her supervisor. She finally stopped her nonsense and cancelled my service.

I don't either. When I moved into my new house, I signed up for the triple play package. Once my "cheap" period was up and my payments ballooned, I went to the local Comcast/Verizon office to slim down my package to what I actually use. They tried to get me to keep my land-line phone (they are salespeople, it's part of their job) but I politely and sternly refused and they politely and professionally did what I asked them to do, saving me about $100/month on services I don't use.

We recently switched to Dish for our cable TV& we are very glad we did. We still have Comcast for email, but their spam filter is really annoying. It’s terribly inconsistent & blocks important stuff. I now log in once a day directly to make sure the spam filter hasn’t gotten something I need. Then I download to Outlook.

If I could be sure I’d get the same internet speed with Dish, I’d get rid of Comcast for good.

We are rarely without service and we have the triple play...but man oh man, expensive. We didn’t sign a contract but price has gone up, thinking about calling and seeing if I cancel and say I can’t afford it, if they will reduce it for me.

Sucks when you’re in a rural area, and your only cable TV options are Comcast, or.....nothing.

(We currently use one of the Satellite providers)

It was costing me $180 per month for cable, internet and phone before I cancelled the internet and phone. Still costs me $98 for just the cable. At some point, I'm dumping the cable too.

COMCAST is the WORST cable/phone/internet provider on the planet! Just got off the phone with a Comcast rep trying to find out WHY my $129.00 bill is $179.00! The “chick” talked us around for 40 min, only to say, “we will get back to you on this”! Total CRAP!

I have phone Internet and cable with Comcast. It was out SEVEN days after a little storm. Took the technician 15 minutes to fix when they finally deigned to show up.

We bought a ROKU in January. We watch Netfix and some other channels on that most of the time. I’m hoping we can drop the Comcast cable at some point. I’d only miss some shows on Fox News Channel. We have no cell out here so still have a land line, and want to keep the internet service, but I could easily drop the cable if hubby would agree to it!
