DENVER — Republican Senate candidate Cory Gardner leads incumbent Democratic Sen. Mark Udall by a 47-45 percent margin in a survey released Thursday by Public Policy Polling, a firm that generally tends to favor left-leaning candidates.

Eight percent of respondents remain undecided with 40 days remaining until Election Day and just a couple of weeks until ballots are mailed out.

Interestingly, PPP asked respondents a number of issue-related questions.

All these lefty/Dem pollsters can't seem to spin Udall into the lead.

It must be very bad for Dems these days.

If Gardner wins then you can count on nearly all the close ones falling to the GOP.
It will be 2006 in the reverse.

From the article - More than half of the respondents, 55 percent, said they are much more likely to vote for a candidate who “wants to protect a woman’s right to choose and protect access to birth control”; and 47 percent said they are much more likely to support a candidate “who wants to make sure the rich and corporations pay their fair share of taxes.”

The left coast transplants speak.

Abortion on demand, class warfare, and high taxes. Definitely Democrats surveyed in that poll.

From Colorado Peak Politics take on this poll.

- - - - - - - -

"Where should we start on how much Sen. Mark Udall and his campaign can’t like the new poll just released by Public Policy Polling? Let us count the ways:

1. Known as being a liberal-leaning polling firm, they have Rep. Cory Gardner leading Udall 47%-45%.

2. The 34% Democrat, 33% Republican, 34% Independent demographic breakdown is a best-case scenario for Democrats come Election Day.

3. The PPP 53%-47% female-male voting does not reflect the traditional 52%-48% breakdown, meaning they are overly optimistic on female turnout.

4. The 14% Hispanic turnout is skewed high, with many experts believing it will more likely be around 12%.

5. Despite all of these minor ways PPP tried to put their finger on the scale to tip it Udall’s way, he is still trailing Gardner 47%-45%!

This next song goes out by request to the Colorado Left who are trying to spin furiously this disastrous poll they commissioned. "

Yes they do. Especially in senate races.
But maybe Obozo dug a hole too deep for them this time.
We shall see.

Look who they polled before you speak. It’s a crap poll.

FYI Corey Gardner, the “Elephant” is not screwing up anything. He’s run an excellent campaign.

I count above about 6 or 7% how PPP skewed the poll for Udall and he still fell short LoL, and who knows who they called for their biased survey.

Gardner has got a solid lead.

The Udall ads on TV are making these female homo saps (homo sap is not to be confused with homo sapient) think Cory Gardner will be crowned King and outlaw abortion by decree. Every ad block for months.

The Democrats are mostly a two-trick pony these days. Look at every campaign around the country and in some variation you’re hearing the same two things. Republicans want to take a woman’s right to an abortion away and they favor the rich over the poor. They can’t give you specifics on anything so it’s the same song and dance.

Udall is spending a TON of money on commercials, both radio and TV. I counted 4 in 15 min here in the Springs recently. Doomburg must be shelling out some serious cash - and yet the PPP has Gardner ahead. If Udall wins it's because the women that want free BC and abortions will outnumber those of us who don't care for Obama (whom Udall votes with 99% of the time, FWIW).

It is very sad that it is this close. Udall should be massively failing.
