I have liked Rush Limbaugh from the first day I heard him, on AFN Europe in about 1997. He was on in the evening for about an hour. We didn’t get the entire program.
There was even an early attempt to blacklist him from AFN. One of my subordinates, a Benedictine nun, and a true liberal (who eventually forsook her vows), began a campaign to have him removed from AFN (Armed Forces Network). When she asked me about Rush — and I’d just discovered him — I sang his praise and his conservatism. She looked like I’d just urinated in her coffee. As I said, she went on to go back on her vows, her cohorts trying to rid AFN of Rush were not successful, and Rush went on to fame and fortune.
And it was about that same time that I discovered Free Republic. Been here ever since.
They will not succeed. The only way to stop Rush is to “Breitbart” him.

You would think a pretty good lawsuit for tortious interference with contractual relations could be filed on this.

Man you gotta love investigations that exposé the truth about evildoers! I think that sense of justice / righting what’s wrong / fighting against evil / shedding light on their deception and evil methods exists in most investigators I know and it’s probably one of the main reasons I became one. Now I think I need to look up some info on these people...: )
I take comfort in knowing that the left does not have anyone close to rivaling Rush Limbaugh. Their answer to his conservative arguments is to make underhanded attacks because they have no other answers.
It would be briefly entertaining to let one of these fools get on the air and spout their leftist garbage or better yet, defend their dirty deeds.

The Sandra Fluke episode demonstrated Rush Limbaugh doesn’t need to worry about losing advertisers. Others will gladly take their place. When Carbonite cratered to pressure and dropped their advertising with Limbaugh, one of their competitors swooped in and began advertising with Rush instead. When Carbonite felt the blowback from Rush listeners and begged to return, Limbaugh told them to take a hike.
I have posted at yahoo on news stories and get many many nonsensical replies. I figure the democrats hire crazy people for below minimum wage to attack anyone they do not like.
The liberals fear of truth is growing they have been exposed and can’t make up a good cover story a slow death of socialism is better than no death.
Liberals been trying to silence Rush since day 1. Liberals failed with Air America, so now they are trying to shut conservatives up.
The last time Rush’s advertiser pulled the plug they were replaced immediately....most of them tried to return and were turned down.
