Hey, that’s not just any grass, it’s Juche grass!
Makes for a faster green and it’s good on the fairway
too, plus you can eat it, it’s good with tree bark.

No-show at the big assembly is a big deal. The man is excessive in all of his appetites and passions, so an early onset of lifestyle diseases or political problems would be no surprise.

Who’s next in line?

Yes, I thought the same but since he has a new jet (an old, refurbished Russian plane), I suspect he might’ve used it. He apparently likes to travel in style and with much show and fanfare.

Of course, we could all be wrong in our conjecture. Maybe he and Ri Sol Ju have absconded with the multi-millions he has stashed away and they are now resting on some beach somewhere. Now that I think about it, where in the world could he go if he decided to run away?

Yes, he has a half brother, Kim Jong Nam. Reportedly, Jong Nam was to be the heir apparent to Jong il but embarrassed his father and China when he was caught trying to enter Japan to go to Disneyland. He has lived in Macau, China and a European nation. Last I heard or read, there was an attempt upon Nam’s life. Scuttlebutt has it that China considers Nam to be the heir apparent if Jong Un fails or vacates the sceen for whatever reason.

good point. China may well be grooming that guy to take over. Maybe he likes the system in China, more “free” (more or less) economy without loosening political power.

Yes, I have as well. Maybe Jong Un is destined for some concrete shoes or maybe his knees are next.
