FLASH: Turkish tanks at ISIS controlled border - VIDEO

Kurdish news channel MED-NUCE has received footage of Turkish tanks and armoured vehicles crossing into Syria through the ISIS controlled border crossing of Karakamis, Jarablus.

The video, published today by MED-NUCE (also embedded at the bottom of this page), clearly shows large military lorries carrying tanks and armoured vehicles into Syria through a border crossing that has been under the control of ISIS for some time now. The Karakamis border crossing near Jarablus falls right between the Rojava cantons of Kobane and Afrin; it is 45km to the West of Kobane where the Kurds have been resisting against an ISIS onslaught in which tanks and armoured vehicles have been heavily deployed.

Well this one left me scratching my head? Okay it is documented that wounded ISIS terrorists seek treatment in Turkish hospitals but why in the world if Turkey is sending in hard armor against, why would they let them pass?

Turkey was a secular state. Under Erdogan the islamic influence is growing rapidly. Turkey was the home of the old Ottoman Empire, the Suleiman Caliphate if you will. In this time of power vacuum and instability they may have ambitions to recreate that hegemony by allying with and co-opting the ISIS forces. A good way to start would be to move armor in against the Assad regime in Syria and re-establish dominance in the region.

Yes, don't think that Turkey would love nothing more than to reconstitute the old Ottoman Empire and be the dominant player in the Arabian Peninsula. That and they hate all Kurds and would like nothing more than to exterminate them. This is an outrage, especially from a NATO member. They need to be kicked out of NATO as they no longer belong. Let's not forget they would not allow us basing rights to launch forces and planes from the bases there to invade Iraq in 2003.

We need to take up the Kurds cause. They are our strongest and best allies in the region (along with Israel). They deserve to have their own state. To hell with Turkey.

The Turks are on the side of ISIS since they have turned into an Islamist government and support the Caliphate. The money is on the Turks trying to reconstitute the Ottoman Caliphate that was destroyed a hundred years ago. The enemy is Islam, which is more than a religion it is a governmental system also. They cannot be separated.

The Utopians in the US government refuse to see what is happening . This includes Republicans and Democrats.

The Turks are going to have a problem, I think. The Kurds in northern Iraq are going to be a nation....who's going to take them on? The Kurds in Turkey are going to want to join them, especially when ISIS battles extend into their lands. Now, there are Kurds leaving Syria which will enlarge the Kurdish population in Kurdish areas. Take a look at the map. Turkey's been short sighted being too benign to ISIS. It's become a monster no one can control, and now Turkey's got a stronger more determined Kurdish population to deal with.

Well on this thinking I would add that; ISIS is in belief that they are ushering in their final Madhi. To this not only must the final battle be waged in Syria and specifically the town of Dabiq but Constantinople must be restored to Islamabad. Here is a picture of the battlefield in Dabiq that ISIS tweeted earlier this summer, they dream that this exact field is where the final battle between the Romans and the righteous Muslim takes place.

It looks like this , but the vehicle in the video has some sort of devices sticking up at the rear that I can't ID. Also if you look at the video it shows the same carrier over and over giving the impression that it is in a column.

That’s my point of posting. Certainly he has miscalculated the allegiances many times in the past and if this video is real, well we just witnessed his biggest.

Right and i have been following the Kurds in Iraq and Syria via their twitter postings and well they love to uh play the game so to speak but there are elements in this video that were true and accurate and it makes sense that the video shot was not long enough for an evening news telecast where it was shown.

That said there was a prisoner swap last week between ISIS and Turkey and I just wonder if this might be some of their booty?

Not so much. In recent years, Turkey has become more radical and has began a separation from the West.
