What about a mercenary army; elite fighters who would be well paid, well trained to defeat terrorists all over the world. Here's how it would work the fighters would be recruited by America and trained in the USA by our Special Forces. U.S. Army rules of engagement would be followed, strict discipline formed by the Geneva Convention. America would be in charge of selecting who makes the cut and how they are deployed with an eye on a 25,000-person force.

American and NATO officers would lead the mercenary army and the USA would also provide logistical support basing the first trained soldiers in Kurdistan. The force would be called the anti-terror army and the cost paid by the coalition that President Obama is trying to put together and these countries that won intelligence and protection from the USA and NATO would have to chip in.

Ultimately, your money can’t fight for you.

Maybe for a time, but not for long.

How many Mooselips would be in that mercenary group and take out others for the Jihad. Nice on paper a disaster in reality.

Pray America wakes

A mercenary army wouldn’t have let SEALS die at Benghazi... Oh wait, the mercenaries would function under Obama and Hillary types... they would be just as impotent...

And we’d be paying for two armies...

Nevermind.

The problem with mercenaries is always,
what do you do with them if they win?

It won’t be long and wars will be fought by machines. Thus the country that can build bigger, badder and greater quantities of machines will have the edge. There will still be humans controlling them but not on the frontlines

"Billy boy is a fraud....why bother with what he has to say?"

The bloviator thinks he has all the answers. I think he should send them all copies of his books. They'll die laughing.

This should be the UN but cannot because the UN is so damn corrupt. NATO would seem a better. Something has to be done and it must be by a global force since these insane animals are all over the place. And what if all of a sudden there is a large radical force on American soil. Should NATO be called in or should we take care of it with our resources. I just don't know, but something has to be done and a NATO force seems logical. Americas military can't just be the police force of the world.

And what about the communists clubs like Russia and China. Some Nations could and should, like us, take care of the radicals by themselves. China would shoot them on the spot and stick the Geneva Convention rules up their ars.

I’m all for it. Training? Don’t need it. There are mercs out there already trained... and they proved their capabilities in the 90’s in Africa. Scared the heck out of governments worldwide. Accomplished a whole lot with very few folks.

What about a mercenary army fighting ISIS right here at home?

O’Reilly totally overlooks the danger the public faces right here at home
