ABC News ^ | September 23, 2014 | Liz Kreutz

If there is one thing Chelsea Clinton is most worried about, it may be that her soon-to-be child will grow up in a world without elephants.

Standing alongside her mother, Hillary Clinton, at the Clinton Global Initiative this afternoon, the very-pregnant former first daughter warned the plight of African elephants, killed for their ivory tusks, is an “existential” one, and said that if the current poaching rates continue, elephants could be few and far between within the next decade.

If so, this means Chelsea Clinton’s favorite animal could be something her child would never know.

Criminals beget criminals. The kid will probably be a criminal too. It’s in the genes.

Don’t worry, Chelsea – your wee one will have a Mammoth-sized debt to face in the future.

Women

Power

The age of comfort and convenience bred illusions which will ultimately destroy the comfort and convenience

And then back to the natural order of things

Dang! It looks as if the Clintons are trying to breed an Eleanor Roosevelt look-alike.

My fear for the baby is that she won’t give little him or her up for adoption.

Complete idiot and total failure.
What institution of higher learning granted her a liberal affirmative action appointment?
She is an utter failure at every employment opportunity she has been given, none of which, btw, she has merited.

The African Elephant is threatened but the Indian isn’t—the Asian Elephants will be here for a long time. And if we can lean to use the African domestically—train them and make them a partner of man rather than a rival for farm land—they will have a long life. Now if Ebola kills off the excess population if Africa this may give Elephants a better life in the wild. The dark continent could use a 70% drop in People. Cold but true.

It takes a village of elephants to raise an elephant from endangered to nonthreatened species. She should know that.

The thing most likely to cause the extinction of elephants is the banning of the sale of ivory.
