he is on my list of Posser Conservative wannabes including Mittens, Grhamnisty, McLame, etc....Either we get a conservative candidate or I will sit this one out. I held my nose and voted against obozo the last two elections. NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!
I agree. There’s too much stigma associate with the family name. I don’t see him running at all, and I kinda doubt that these “likely possibility” stories are coming from anyone actually close to him.”
What I do find interesting is how stories like this, which are guaranteed to anger and inflame Conservatives, are suddenly popping up right about now. I wonder why that could be ...
I don’t think he could get enough Rats to make up for the lost conservative voters. This is a losing strategy numbers wise unless of course the GOPE finally comes out of the closet and admits they are the little me-me’s of the socialist/communist Democrats.
But in that kind of an election who are you going to vote for if you are a low information, hand permanently extended for a hand out, the party that says you can have it all for free or the party that says you can have it all but pay just a little...
I he is at the top of the ticket in 2016 I will stay home. I am tired of these losers getting through the stupid primary system we have that “certain” states get to choose our candidate. We need to have a national primary day. Top two have a run off 30 days later.
Necro-Americans always vote a straight RAT ticket.
Yeah, yeah, we know, Jeb. Now go away.
The Democrats are going to work hard to see Bush win the primary. They know he’s a sure loser for the Republicans. He’s like a three-dollar bra: no support.
JEB!, Christie, someone else, who will win the 2016 GOPe “most electable” beauty pageant?
What else can be said when witnessing a train wreck except, NOOOOOOO!!
They damn well better start listening to Rush: Conservativism, properly articulated, wins every time.
I pray that Jeb will not be the nominee.
Jeb Bush would be as strong a candidate as McCain and Romney, finishing second by only a few percent, but America needs a strong conservative in the White House to survive. This country will cease to exist as a recognizable constitutional republic within just a few years if we don’t repeal ObamaCare and roll back many of the other massive expansions of government into our lives. Jeb would continue expanding government (slower than Hillary or Warren, but still the wrong direction). No, thank you, to Jeb, Christie, Rubio, Romney, and the rest of the RINO politicians.
I hope and pray that Cruz will run and that conservatives will unite behind him early. He’s not my first choice (or second), but he is the most electable of the true conservatives who are likely to run. I’d rather unite behind Cruz now than take my chances on maybe getting my first or second choice but maybe electing someone who will at best cement our losses and allow ObamaCare to continue and at worst lose to yet another far left liberal who hates America and despises freedom.
A tad more complex than that. The GOP-e will also put up Mitt Romney, again, as the only acceptable alternative to Jeb Bush. They will not tolerate anyone else entering the primary.
They likely figure that Jeb Bush by himself would cause a rank and file revolt, because nationwide, the Bush family are now about as popular as bleeding colon cancer. So by putting up Romney as a fake “alternative” to Bush, they can lock out any other challengers.
The one way around their scheme is pretty soon: the defeat of Mitch McConnell in his senate race. If he can lose because conservatives won’t vote for him, it may rattle the GOP-e so hard that conservatives might be able to take over the Republican National Convention.
And if conservatives can pull off this coup, then they can purge the leadership of liberals, and achieve the great goal of nominating a conservative for president.
May I ask who your first/ second choices would be?
More likely to now than before she died.
