On the main page for DOT - http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/, there’s a HUGE button marked “ID for voting” that goes to http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/drivers/drivers/apply/petition-process.htm. Additionally, two offices in Milwaukee are now open 8-12:30 on Saturday, in addition to their usual hours. Of course, DOT made the papers last Thursday, because the network was down for DMV applications for most of the day. FYI, the estimate for DOT is that 6,000 people PER DAY will be applying for the free voter ID card. Following the passage of the law in 2011, DMV opened stations in EVERY county in the state-there are 72 counties. More populous counties have multiple DMV offices. No one should have to go farther than their county of residence to get an ID.

BUMP! And I see my old tagline has found a good home. ;)

Have you heard Hizzonner May-jor Soglin on the radio, lately? The panic in his voice over this situation is worth the price of admission. Suh-weet!

Next week? Mooch & RINO Christie are showing up. Yeesh.

I cannot WAIT for the debates, though! Love My Gov! :)
