It's easy to just chalk up Barack Obama's terrible performance as President to "liberalism" or "incompetence," but it goes so much further than that. Obama is a ballerina running a steel mill, a fight fan working as a bouncer, a go cart aficionado racing in NASCAR. Barack Obama was elected because Americans were frustrated with the Republican Party, because he did a good job of reading uplifting speeches, and because Americans thought that if they elected the first black President, it would be a seminal moment for race relations in America. Unfortunately, GOP awfulness didn't translate into Democratic goodness, those speeches got dull in a hurry, race relations have gotten worse, and none of that has anything to do with Obama actually being capable of handling the most important job on the planet. Maybe next time, voters will ask the most basic question about the candidates running for President: are they competent to do the job or will we end up with another Obama?
1) He was unprepared for the job: As Sarah Palin said back in 2008, "My fellow citizens, the American presidency is not supposed to be a journey of personal discovery."
Yet, thats exactly what the presidency was for Barack Obama. He had never run a business. He had never been a governor. His performance as a state senator in Illinois and during his very brief time as a senator was undistinguished.
There was nothing about Barack Obamas background that should have led anyone to think that he would be up to the job of being President and as it turns out, he isnt.
2) His aims are ideological and political, not practical: Barack Obamas only concerns are
A) Is this good for me? B) Is this good for the Democrat Party? C) Is this good for liberalism?
Whether its good for the country or not doesnt even enter into the equation perhaps because Obama starts with the assumption that anything thats good for him, the Democrat Party, and for liberalism must be good for the country by default. Sadly, the long line of broken promises, mishaps, and disasters that have defined his presidency say otherwise.
3) He doesn't know how to work with Congress: Obamas standard modus operandi is to propose something he knows Republicans will oppose, then trash them non-stop, refuse to meet with them, and cap it all off by complaining that they wont work with him on anything. Thats not exactly a big secret, but a lot of people dont know that Obama doesnt work that well with congressional Democrats either. If you want to get an idea of what Democrats really think of Obama, this story about stimulus negotiations from Bob Woodwards Price of Politics tells you all you need to know (PS: Just for the record, Pelosi denied this story in an unconvincing way, but I think Woodward, who is also a liberal, got it right)
"Warming to his subject, he (Obama) continued with an uplifting speech. Pelosi reached over and pressed the mute button. They could hear Obama, but now he couldn't hear them. The president continued speaking, his disembodied voice filling the room, and the two leaders got back to the hard numbers."
4) He's narcissistic: Is Barack Obama just a heavy duty narcissist or does he actually have narcissistic personality disorder? Its impossible to say for sure, but either way, his self-centered behavior cuts all the way down to the core of who he is as a human being. Whether he was sleeping through Americans dying in Benghazi or golfing right after he talked about James Foleys beheading, Obama is always primarily interested in himself. Leaders in this country are supposed to be servants of the people, not their masters. Having a man like Obama, who views the great power he has as a way to serve himself is dangerous for our country.
5) Hes a poor planner who doesnt think things through: Whether youre talking about helping radical jihadists take over in Egypt or Libya, enabling Irans push towards a nuclear bomb, his red line in Syria, or his destined-to-fail-before-it-ever-begins plan to fight ISIS, you always come away with the impression that Obama formulates his foreign policy between holes on the golf course. Judging by his approach to Obamacare and immigration, his domestic policy isnt much better. This is not a man who spends a lot of time thinking about the consequences of his actions before he makes a decision, which is a pretty scary trait for the President of the United States. Its almost enough to make you suspect that the choom gang is still meeting in the Oval Office every night.
6) He's habitually dishonest: Most of Bill Clintons fans would admit that he was a shameless liar, but even his enemies gave him a sort of backhanded compliment about how good he was at it with his Slick Willie nickname. Obama lies even more than Clinton and unlike Slick Willie, he insults your intelligence while he does it by not even trying to make his lies plausible. Not only is he lying, but you know hes lying, he knows you know hes lying and HE DOESNT CARE. When youre dealing with a bald faced liar like Barack Obama, you always know that nothing he says means anything more than, If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.
Only 6?
Sarah was dead-on accurate describing who comrade obamatollah really is - evil, stupid and unqualified.
The most unqualified person ever to be elected and only morons and leftwing communists/moozies voted for him again.
” a bald faced liar like Barack Obama,”!
And that’s the nicest thing you can say about this punk ass fag.

Preachin’ to the choir!
At FR, we knew all of this, and more, early on. But, what to do to stop this disaster? Nobody can seem to get a plan together beyond, “Don’t vote for the Republican. They are not perfect for 1) 2) 3)...”
I say “Vote for the Republican because that’s our only hope.”
I would say these items are correct, and what is most important, and never really discussed or followed up on, is that a great majority of countries around the world figured ALL this out within the first year...
Those folks aren’t laughing at people like us...They are clowning the guy and the people that voted him into office, twice...
That’s the embarrassing part...But, when all is said and done, the 2016 election is soon on the horizon...
I think we are going to be very surprised by that election cycle...
A little bird told me John “Effin” Kerry has been quietly looking into this, knowing Hillary will be a real anchor to the failures of the previous administration, he’s coming in on some strong points, and not a lot of flak is hitting near him at this point...
I also predict a lot of these “scandals over the last 3-4 years will go away from the MSM and FoxNews cycles at the first of the year...Concentrating on the 2016 races...
I bet there is a drawer full of Presidential pardons for Holder, Learner et. al. as his final act of defiance...
Just watch...
it has not failrf, it has destroyed our nation. it has done exactly what it set out to do, make the US a third world country.
“6 Reasons Barack Obama Is A Failed President”.......
I don’t need six to tell me that, one is sufficient.
He’s just not bright enough to be mayor of a small town. He would fail as governor of any state or premier of a Canadian province.
There is not a shred of evidence that this guy has even an average IQ. He has been an affirmative action/quota hire his whole life and his handlers locked up his academic records. The man is a dull-normal dope.
Chauncey Obama. Stupid is as stupid does.
Israel looks better and better
I agree. The few utterances of his that pass for "articulate" are simply because he is a mimic, as are many people who look like him. There should be a drumbeat of calls for his resignation.
I'd make the case that George H. W. Bush, for all his flaws, was probably the last president we had who really belonged in the White House.
A big part of it is age. It's not that age is a guarantee of wisdom and competence, but people in the years when they should be at the peak of their professional capabilities shouldn't be devoting themselves to a political career.
Let's face it, folks. Any competent person in almost any profession or trained career in the 35-50 age group doesn't get into politics because they are better off doing something else. So what we end up with is a bunch of phony hustlers and half-@ssed jokers in positions of power in government.
Good points---he employs the power of the presidency to credential marginal people....using familiar tools:
<><> appointing imbeciles to top govt jobs, so they get plush jobs post-govt;
<><> the endless photo-ops, pumping weak resumes;
<><> handing out govt money to credential dubious liberal projects (Solyndra)...
<><> the proliferating foreign aid scams...
<><> emptying out Turd World lowlifes onto the backs of US taxpayers.......
And so on and so forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.
2 comments;
1. I learned all about Obamas negotiating skills when a day after his election and control of Congress he gleefully commented, The Republicans can come along with us, but theyre gonna have to sit in the back.
2. Before the first election I asked some fellow employees who supported Obama what he had done in the past to make them believe he would be a competent President (to be fair, their only real choices were him, McCain and Clinton, the trifecta of mediocrity.). They just kept repeating, He stands for change. of course, one of these individuals, when I had earlier commented on bullfights in America, looked at me blankly and asked, How do they get the bulls to fight?.
Lots of little things like this are why he got to the White House and why we are were we are today...
You and other honest people want wealth; the criminal/political class want power.
It’s easy to just chalk up Barack Obama’s terrible performance as President to “liberalism” or “incompetence,” but it goes so much further than that
Really? I think incompetence in a President is pretty much going to lead to a terrible performance..
Once incomptence is established its all over but the crying...
“Dont vote for the Republican. They are not perfect for 1) 2) 3)...
I say Vote for the Republican because thats our only hope.
Yeah, you’re probably right, but I for one am about through with the “$hitt Sandwich” the GOPe feeds us every two years. At some point, not far off, we have to bite the bullet and put them out of business if they continue to behave as they have since the days of RR. Are these puds ( the Cochrans, Boners, Scrotum Necks, Roberts, Corkers, Christies, Hatches, etc.) really our best and brightest? Are we really willing to send our elected officials to Washington for twenty years or more? These people are awful, but yet we keep sending them back.
