Last week, Hillary Clinton returned to Iowa for the first time since her 2008 presidential campaign loss, saying, "I'm back." She continued: "It's true. I've been thinking about it," referring to another run in 2016. But the truth is that even many of her esteemed liberal cronies think it's a bad idea.
I know that billionaire buddies such as Wal-Mart heiress Alice Walton, philanthropist Jon Stryker and progressive globalist George Soros were among 32 other wealthy elites who helped the former first lady raise over $4 million last year for the "Ready for Hillary" super PAC. However, outside of her super-rich comrades -- who have clear self-invested interests in resurrecting and ensuring a Clinton dynasty -- hosts of other liberals are petrified of the prospect of her becoming president.
Most expect us conservatives to oppose the 2016 presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, but listen to the liberals themselves. They've already done our bidding.
Let me give you 10 -- among many other -- liberal cases against Clinton, in their own words, including one from Clinton herself.
10) "It's possible, even likely, that by 2016 the electorate will be restive, and ready for more change than a pillar of the Obama administration could provide. ... Progressives might think it's time to run a national campaign from the left, particularly on issues of national security. And it might indeed be time for a challenge to the bipartisan national security consensus that's hardened since 9/11, as exemplified by the centrist-liberal crowd that feted Clinton at the Saban forum. It would be hard for that campaign to be Hillary Clinton's. ... I do think people have valid reservations about the nepotism and inbreeding of our political elite. ... Like it or not, Clinton is inextricably tied to Obama's presidency. 9) "You can't be the candidate that shakes down more money on Wall Street than anybody since, I don't know, Woodrow Wilson, and be the populist. You can't be the one to say we're going to focus on rebuilding America if you voted to go to the Iraq War. There were 30-some Democrats who voted against that. ... Are we going to choose more leadership that is going to roll over and get scratched on the belly by corporations like a fat dog?" -- Brian Schweitzer, former Democratic governor of Montana (2005-13), to Time magazine
8) "(Clinton) cannot simply ignore the controversies and wage an energetic defense, a full embrace of America's international record at a time when (Barack) Obama is scoring the lowest poll numbers of his presidency on that issue. Obama's foreign policy looks like a key vulnerability for Democrats in the next presidential election. ... Clinton did not get everything right. Her failure to list Nigeria's Boko Haram as a terrorist organization, for example, was a mistake. 7) "The first real hand-hold that the president had in climbing out of single digits in the Democratic primaries in 2008 is that he had condemned the Iraq War and Hillary Clinton had voted for it. It was the first real difference between the president, and most of the rest of the field. For me, I could be wrong, but I still think a vote for that war still should be a deal-breaker in Democratic primaries. This probably sums it up perfectly.
I said back in 2008 that hard-core Democrats would be very reluctant to support a candidate who spent six years on the board of directors of Wal-Mart.
She is toast. Better practice up on your grandmother skills Hillary.
Simply not far enough left for the democrats.
In fact when it comes down to it, the left will find that neither Warren or Sanders are far enough left for their liking.

2016 Hillary was relying on the "income equality" bugaboo to hoist herself into office......as good a definition of "white privilege" as any. The Clintons strategy is to label others as "different" while presenting themselves as "normal."
The Clinton "normal" is couple billion dollars laying around without having a real job. The Never-Enough Clintons had planned to run a populist campaign, critical of the Wall Street types”....that's after the world was informed that speaker Hillary was pocketing $200,000 a throw from Goldman Sachs.....and other corporate giants.
The Clintons went from "dead broke" to multi-billionaires in an astonishing short period of time----without holding jobs The greedy, mega-wealthy Clintons have money pouring in from everywhere without lifting a finger...said to be worth couple BILLION dollars.
Never-enough Bill/Hillary look to cash in w/ another go-round in the White House. The Clintons owe bigtime......money is pouring into their three tax-exempt foundations......and these donors expect payback.

Bill and Hillary Clinton raised $2-3 billion in the two decades they’ve been prominent on the national stage, according to the WSJ.
The Journal tallied the Clintons’ speaking fees, fundraising for their foundation and the sums raised for Bill Clinton’s two presidential campaigns for the DNC while he was in office and for Hillary Clinton’s Senate and presidential campaigns.
Between $1.3-2 billion came from U.S. companies and industry sources, making up at least 75 percent of the sum — more than the 60 percent industry sources contributed to the two Bushes’ political operations.
The Journal reports that if Hillary Clinton runs for president in 2016, as expected, she could return such donors to the Democratic Party, a source of concern for Republican fundraisers as they gear up for what’s expected to be the most expensive presidential election in history.
Overall, the Clintons’ political operations raised $1.2 billion, their nonprofit drew between $750 million and $1.7 billion and they made about $100 million in speaking fees. --SNIP--

Who fills the void left by Hillary?
I believe this Townhall conclusion is wrong. The media and pundits [thanks Spicoli] are not doing these on their own. Hillary is getting all the nastiness out in the open right now. Once it has been rehashed and investigated the “dude that was like 2 years ago” defense will be played. Hillary will be portrayed as some heroic figure who beat back a relentless media storm and overcame the sexist attacks. They want Hillary and will do anything to help her become POTUS.

It should be remembered that while the Muslim Brotherhood was in charge in Egypt via Morsi, Obama and Hillary showered them with praise and provided billions of dollars in aid, arms, tanks and planes.
Egypt, under new leadership, has unceremoniously thrown the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics.... and hasn’t forgotten the support offered to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Egypt has now charged Obama and Hillary Clinton for conspiring and collaborating with the M/B and advancing their terrorist activities. Hillary's pal, al Haddad, is also sitting in an Egyptian jail (reported by H/T Western Journalism).

A lot of good points in the story.
One I would add is that Hillary is, in the words of Francis Urquhart, “too old and too familiar, tainted by a thousand shabby deals.” People are simply tired of Hillary Clinton. She’s been in the spotlight for 22 years now, an eternity in politics. If she runs in 2016, she’ll be seen in many Democratic circles more as the equivalent of Bob Dole 1996 than Bill Clinton 1992.
She is SOOOOOOO 1990’s.
The Democrat Party has moved on. In a leftward direction. Liz Warren is to the conservative end of what their base will now accept.
I wish you were right, but there in no viable Democrat opponent at this moment. In the general election, the GOP has not come up with a viable candidate and the black and gender support for Hillary will be almost insurmountable.
I do believe that Hillary is damaged goods. She is done and no amount of any help is going to work. Obama did a big number on her. She is finished.

Got to remember that, when a man ages, he is considered “distingrished”. When a woman ages, she is considered “old.”

Hillary learned about Islam from Chelsea.
Maybe Hillary can run on providing a robust Carteresque foreign policy instead of a milquetoast Obama foreign policy.
