Not too hard for ISIS to book an infected person into Mexico City, get on a bus to Nuevo Laredo, walk five miles outside the city and cross directly over the border unseen and unstopped. Two days and a bus ride later he is coughing up a storm in the faces of millions of New York City commuters.
Yes. I’d say about 20 feet. Any virus ejected from say a sneeze could travel at least 10 feet and then float in the air for another ten feet before coming to rest, where it could ‘survive’ for probably four hours.

They would probably have to steam clean the cloth seats. Most airplanes are lucky if the seats get cleaned once a month. I think the passengers are the ones who should be wearing the haz-mat suits. Airplanes are basically huge petri dishes.
