So who had the right of way in this instance? You tell me. (I know you are a lot closer to the situation than I am)

The pedestrian.

I read on Red State this morning that the bike had no brakes.

Erik Erickson had a great editorial about bike riders and their arrogant sense of liberal privilege. The bike riders in urban environments are a menace. They don't follow any rules of the road and are outraged if they get hit by a motorist when running a light, or stop sign. I can't help but notice that I don't see very many bike riders in the predominantly Black parts of town.

In poor black neighborhoods, they ride little girl’s bikes because they can’t afford cars - to watch grown men struggle on these little bikes has been an amazing sight to me. I’m not making this up! No $4,000 bikes for them!

Obviously, what I’ve not understood in all these years is that these murderous cyclists are pc - therefore held to a different standard than the ordinary manslaughter charge.

I agree bike riders often ride recklessly. For instance yesterday they were riding side by side on a two lane road, peddling at 8 miles per hour with a line of cars behind them.
