Clorox is shutting down all operations in Venezuela, citing restrictions by the government, supply disruptions and economic uncertainty. [ ]
The consumer products company said that for almost three years its affiliate, Corporación Clorox de Venezuela S.A., had to sell more than two-thirds of its products at prices frozen by the Venezuelan government. Over that same time span, there was a sharp rise in inflation that resulted in significantly higher costs for Clorox.

No problem. The Government will just order them to stay in business.
That happened to some extent in Rome in the late 4th-early 5th century-it didn’t work out well. Many merchants packed up as much of their money and goods as possible and fled by ship to Britain or some other less accessible corner of the empire to set up business. I’m guessing Clorox can find another country to put a factory in outside the US...
