The Vichy GOP Thinks Tea Parties Should Just Shut Up & Fall In Line, Or Something

One must borrow Her Majesty’s dead horse in response to the Fox News question:

Will Tea Party, GOP establishment be ‘mending fences’ to win Senate in November?

After a long, unapologetic effort to defeat Tea Party and other so-called “unelectable” candidates in GOP primaries, the Washington establishment will likely need Tea Party voters in November to help swing several tight Senate races and win control of the upper chamber.

Here I go:

What difference, at this point, does it make?

One can understand that, yes, there are still two years of #OccupyResoluteDesk to endure. But ObamaCare is still a river of lies, with no hope of repeal The IRS is an affront to all things American Ground truth on Benghazi remains elusive We have no hope of a reasonable budget The Federal Reserve is still running amok The immigration sellout seems a question of when, not if Border and national security seem a shambles

The GOP can’t just argue: “We may suck, but we’re all you’ve got” and “SCOTUS” and expect the base just to roll over like so many moderate Congressional panhandlers waiting for the deal to be cut.

Actual conservatives are wondering things like: “Where is the leadership?” and “What is the reform course?”

The gut feeling amongst the irregular troops who should be supplying the bulk of the momentum for a wave election is that there may not be a point to it. That the real mission of the GOP is to be a shock absorber for reform. That the substantial difference between Boehner and Pelosi is that Cryin’ Johnny never equated Tea Partiers Nazis.

Yeah, well they will die of old age waiting for my support. They can get their votes to stay on the gravy train from whence they got their primary votes. Oops, those people will be voting for the ‘rats come the GE.

will the tea party and the establishment be mending fences?

Huh??? One fence the establishment could mend right now is McDaniel getting that nomination, soon enough to win the election. With the RINO establishment embracing his candidacy.

Where I live, there are plenty of fences. The neighbor responsible for causing a fence to need mending does the mending.

Doesn’t really matter. This isn’t a big election. McConnell has already said we have to wait until 2016. There will be no engaged opposition party to the obama agenda regardless of who controls the Senate.

Still, it’s amusing to watch the GOP party hobbyists trying to bully conservative into pulling these sorry beltway GOP losers across the finish line. We’re on to their jive. No thanks.

Only if you think Supreme Court judges are immortal. If Obama gets to replace a 'conservative' justice there will be a dam break of emanations from the penumbra.

It is not easy when you have an ignorant if not outright dumb leadership, staffed with all the crooks money could buy and more destructive to the American way of life than a nationwide earthquake. So, what else would you expect?

To top it off the republican party who easily could change the direction this country is going instead of showing and giving people a reason to vote for, they are content just to see the opposition fail by having a good portion of the public voting against a failed regime in disgust for a poor performance putting it mildly. Even if the republican party should succeed such a victory will be short lived and once again the downhill slide will continue unabated.

It certainly doesn’t take an astrophysicist or an Einstein to figure out what brought the “Tea party” in to being, as it would not be here in the first place had the republicans done their job. Instead of welcoming and embracing the ideas and ideals the Tea party espouses, the republican leadership; many of them dwelling in never, never land show nothing but distain for it. The Tea party stands for smaller government, less taxes and less spending along with less rules and regulations. It certainly would be nice to know what is wrong with this concept, something what has gotten lost and forgotten many years ago. Unless we get back on track the future doesn’t look too promising.

Once again this is my take, Saintgermaine

Its hard to get enthused about the GOP when you loathe John Boehner only slightly less than BHO.

” This isn’t a big election. McConnell has already said we have to wait until 2016.”

Yes, let’s hear it for 2016 when Jeb will bring back the happy days of the two Georges! Doubling the deficit, endless wars with no plan for victory, expansion of the welfare state, turning the Treasury over to the CEO of Goldman Sachs, holding hands with the Saudi prince while calling Islam the religion of peace, one sided free trade and more lost American jobs, pouring billions of dollars into the education establishment by revitalizing “no child left behind”. With respect to the Supreme Court perhaps Poppa Bush can help Jeb find another David Souter or George can convince him to give Harriet Myers another try. Yes, there is much to look forward to in 2016 if the GOP elites can get their man in the White House.

I will tell you I think. The GOP does not want the responsibilty. They can be elected and re-elected, they can kibitz from the sidelines. They can “opine” on the issues we are facing, and say it’s not our fault, we can’t stop the murder of America.

Satan laughs all the way to the bank.

While I do not agree with the ingnorant fisherman on all his doctrine, I do agree the problem is spiritual. We are in a battle and “conservatives” who acquiesce to the rules and terms set by liberals are surrendering before the first shot is fired.

There is no political solution. Like the arabs who style themselves as palestinians, liberals are living a lie. It is an existential lie. It is the apex of illusion. No matter, “America’s Got Talent” will continue to the deafening roar of approval and applause.

How we have rotted to this? America looks to be the shortest lived empire in history.

We have a homosexual marxist muslim usurper serial murderer in the White Hut.

Oh, for anyone who may question this, abortion has far exceeded all the previous and ongoing murder of innocents by the Left in history.

Obama leads the cheerleaders for abortion, at any time, and for any resaon. He is by definition a mass murderer as are all “liberals”.

Industrial scale murder of the unborn funded and brought to you by Barak Boko Haram Hussein Hamas Hezbollah Al Nusrah Obama Odingo Soetero.

If anyone thinks that this will go unpunished by God, that nothing matters, you will live in comfort and ease, right up to the point where you are in His presence, think again. Stammering and stuttering will avail them nothing. And then, they will perish. This is the second, eternal death.

Consciences seared as with a hot iron, these people will go to meet reality unprepared for what they will face. With the goading of satan and their own selfish desire and ego they will meet finally with their Maker.

I weep for them. God will not be mocked.

Once their use for you is done (after the election) they will kick you in the teeth, stomp on your rights and only represent those who will line their own pockets and ensure their nobility.

SCREW THEM!

They have been out in force lately, begging, pleading and moaning and when told no again, they start the name calling and fear mongering. The funniest I have seen yet is we conservatives need to “grow up and get over it, and it’s all our fault...” They are truly a soulless, sad lot doing the bidding for their elitist masters.

You can give them overwhelming victories like in 1994 and 2010 and they piss is away dithering and cowering telling us what they can’t or won’t do.

From 1990 to the present all the screws up, losses and party division is all on the GOPE. They can moan and plead their case of innocence until hell freezes over but this is on them. Include what is coming in 2014 and 2016 as they have shown they are totally incapable if learning why they keep getting their asses kicked.

Do you really believe they will deny obama any judge he sends up for the Supreme Court? Really?

Do you think obama is going to nominate another Alito? Really?

As per senator Hatch the president gets his picks where judges are concerned and McInsain feels the same way, this argument is fallacy.

Of course I don't. I didn't say he would. You're setting up a straw man.

The key word is "any". I understand the jackassery that is Hatch and McCain. But there are limits that even the spineless McConnell Senate herd won't cross. See, for example, Debo Adegbile's recent rejection. I'm just saying that being able to avoid the likes of Adegbile might at least allow us to fight for a couple more years in civil arenas rather than in the streets.

We disagree here, McConnell’s stunts in Mississippi have shown they can’t be trusted and will do anything to retain power.

We don't disagree on that at all. I'm just saying that the SC appointments issue is a matter of degrees. With the Senate in GOP hands, Cruz and Lee and Sessions can at least fight a rearguard action, admittedly with likely losses, and have a chance to temper the radicalism enough that we may have a chance to fight on, or we can hand Harry Reid the Senate and prepare for Obama's final solution.
