Excellent comment. Few people recognize the driver behind this process. It is exactly what you say.

If someone had assassinated Hitler in 1936, he would be remembered today as a great man who saved Germany.

Good point.

And that’s why I think the powers that be might make this evil bastard a martyr.

It’s already too late for that. They missed their opportunity right after he won the Nobel. ;-)

Joe Biden

Would I take a dope born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, raised by an American mother and an American father, who played high school and college football over the status quo?

In a heartbeat.

Non-uniformed enemy combatants are not customarily impeached.

Still...

I doubt that. Though his crimes are obvious to all who look, he will be highly honored, mainly for being the first “African American President”. There will be a presidential library, literally thousands of streets and boulevards named after him, and statues in various places. Your grandchildren will go to Barack Obama Elementary school, and when you go on vacation you will fly out of BHO International.

Take a look at any modern bio of Jimmy Carter as an example. SOME of Obamba’s faults will be noted, but they will be diminished as much as possible, and many of his faults will be claimed as accomplishments. He will always have a huge percentage of the population who hold him in the highest esteem, and that percentage will increase as new generations are “educated”.

The IRS begins coordinating with the FBI on all of these groups, and suddenly low-level staffers have gotten it in their heads that it would be a wonderful thing to start checking out 501(c)(4) groups. So is all of this a giant coincidence, or is it more of a criminal enterprise?

You're right Vaquero about the left using a change in laws... they'd exploit and destroy any effort at creating 'good'... That said, what do you think of the FBI going corrupt with all the 'helping' Obama's goons stuff?

I must disagree with Mr. Shapiro as do others. Various reasons, but one stands out blatantly that IF the RICO law was changed allowing those lawsuits he is talking about during a Republican administration the Democrats would load the court system up with false accusations, one frivolous lawsuit after another. Most wouldn’t make it past consideration, but the system would be overloaded with accusations against Republicans. One headline after another making a mockery of the Judicial Branch, as well whichever branch was effected by the lawsuit, most likely, and often the Executive Branch.

It would be a circus beyond the wildest of imaginings, and totally demeaning to our system of government. Further undermining the credibility of our Republican form of government. Aiding, and abetting one of the Marxist’s major goals.

Joe Biden.

I used to think that, but really, would Biden be worse for the country?

We have a lawless president and no one willing to do anything meaningful about it.

Yep, the damage is done. But I still see it as a possibility. It would be bad for the country but a positive for carrying on their agenda.

The fact that this hasn’t been done, and, let’s be honest, CAN’T be done points out the fact that Obama is only part of the problem. And not the major part.

Most of the evil is in Congress, both the House and the Senate. Without them standing for what’s right, and they won’t, impeachment will only work to the advantage of the evil side.

If we get the Senate and keep the House King Obama must be impeached. If successful, and he is out of office, then continue more aggressively charging his Administration for crimes and treason. Go after Holder first and hard. Take his entire empire down as communists criminals.

failure to punish this criminal - and criminal he is - will set a precedent for future tyrants

There are a few problems.

First of all, the US Senate and HOR approved of his activities by vote. The courts declared a whole lot of unconstitutional things legal. State governors have not stood up for states rights. How could Obama be impeached for those actions the US Senate, HOR, and courts agreed to?

Secondly, impeach Obama and the RINOs will feel real overconfident. We'll get another RINO back-stabbing anti-conservative globalist as presidential nominee.

Third point: Obama can be charged with criminal activity after he leaves office. He can't hide behind the Oval Office then, and every politician and judge who enabled him would be in fear of being swept up in the investigation. Unending scrutiny might make some of them behave better. If it's impeachment, it would end when Obama leaves office.

This executive branch is completely out of control and violating our rights. We must change the laws so that someone who works for the government is held criminally responsible just like you or I would be.

Politically, the expense of impeachment is not worth the reward. So, you get roughly 20 months of Joe Biden and get roughly 60% of the populace thinking the GOP is racist/sore losers/drags on the business of governing for the bloodlust of the 20% that thinks impeachment is imperative.

Impeaching during the first term has it's tangible effect but in the second half of the second term, it's just a waste of time - or did the Clinton impeachment not teach you anything?

Myself, I would rather try a president for real crimes once he is already removed from office. Somehow, Bush refused to do that to Clinton which I thought would have been the appropriate time to hold a trial - after the succession to a new president had already taken place.

Maybe his handlers will decide it would be best if he got really ill and kicked the bucket. I wonder if he suspects the same thing and is running scared.

It was a mistake to elect him. It was a mistake not to impeach him. It will be a long term ill for children to read the liberal history books about him.

“It’s just as sad a commentary on Americans voters as it is his on him and the Democrats who selected him as THEIR leader.”

It is also a sad commentary on the electorate the people aren’t demanding his impeachment. The people have the government they wanted.
