A newly-formed coalition of African-American Democrats announced Wednesday they will not back any candidate that has exhibited “disrespect” for the black community on issues such as education, jobs and racial profiling.
Headed by St. Louis County Chairwoman Hazel Erby, D-1st District, the coalition – named for the late Mississippi civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer – pointedly withheld support for Steve Stenger, the Democratic candidate seeking the County Executive post in the November general election.
Erby hedged when asked if the coalition would instead stand behind Republican state Rep. Rick Stream or put forth the name of a write-in candidate in November.
“We are exploring our options,” she told a Wednesday morning press conference at Berkeley City Hall.
Berkeley Mayor Theodore Hoskins was not as circumspect.
“Steve Stenger does not have the best interests of our community,” he said.
Flanked by 35 mayors, council members representing several North County municipalities and state representatives, Erby emphasized that the coalition does not plan to “single out a specific” public official in the November election and beyond.

It speaks volumes, when someone has to threaten people to gain respect. Respect is usually EARNED.
“Black causes” = mo’ money for the community organizers and sleazy democrat politicians.

You poor folks do not recognize it...but....you are adrift and lost at sea....big time!!! Your unguided, poor/rich kids are unwed mothers, missing fathers, thugs, criminals , druggies, wife abusers from the poorest of you to the richest of you!!! Wake up...dump Obama and his economic Black slaveholders, and set out to effectively and in positive fashion....change your culture...not your ethnicity!!! An organization like this should be suppressed as a racist cabal.
And what about the disrespect for the folks who feed them? Talk about ‘biting the hand that feeds you’!
When Other People’s Money runs out, these fat a**** will demand that they still be provided with food, shelter, free medical care, support for the children they have produced, ….and yes, they must be respected by one and all.
Whenever I hear somebody use “disrespect” as a verb, that’s all I need to know about them.

The lions share of the black professionals I’ve worked with throughout my 33 year career in IT were not US citizens, or were not raised in the US.
I think something can be gleaned from that.
If you are poor and need a hand up, who cares what your skin color is. Its the fact that your are poor and need a hand up.
If you are cheated out of a quality education, who cares what your skin color is. Its the fact that you need a quality education.
If you are unemployed, who cares what your skin color is. Its the fact that you are out of work and may needs training/education to have the proper skills to get a job that counts.
Here's a message to those leading the "causes": In this country, you are an American first and foremost. Act like it, and you would advance your cause far better and quicker than making a deal with democrats to have them implement policies that do nothing but keep people on their proverbial plantation.

Only married men who are living with their children and the mother of their children should be allowed to vote.
