Cop defies order to 'celebrate' Islam, and then …
WND ^ | 09/18/2014

A public-interest law firm is urging the U.S. Supreme Court to review the case of a Christian police captain in Oklahoma who refused to attend, or order officers under his command to attend, services at an Islamic mosque with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

As WND reported in May, a panel of federal judges in Denver, in an opinion written by Judge Harris Hartz, found that it is perfectly appropriate for a police chief to order subordinates to attend an Islamic mosque where Muslims “discussed Islamic beliefs, Muhammad, Mecca, and why and how Muslims pray” in addition to encouraging officers “to buy” Islamic books and pamphlets that were for sale.

Props to the righteous cops who have the courage to stand up to leftist political correctness.

As long as despicable swine like Harris Hartz are allowed to remain on the bench, our country will continue to decline.

When was the last time cops were ordered to celebrate Christianity?

I will never forget the sickness I felt when one of our elected officals here in California, went to a local mosque after 9 ll wrapped a bandana around his head and knelt in Prayer with them, it was sick.

...found that it is perfectly appropriate for a police chief to order subordinates to attend an Islamic mosque ...

It’s also perfectly constitutional for a Christian subordinate to refuse the order.

The Lefty mantra "separation of Church and State" really means "separation of Christianity and State."

All other religions and death cults are welcome.

I would go and eat a bag of Pork Rinds in their stinking mosque. Maybe even poke some ridicule at their pedophile prophet.

If I want to participate in pagan ceremonies, I go to the dances the local pueblo invites me to. They have good food and fun afterwards.

Islam is pure evil, and anyone wanting me to pretend different for the sake of political correctness can go to hell. It’s where Islam will take them. Get an early start.

Oh but try ordering a government employee to attend Christian Church services where dogma is the only plan on the agenda.

Harris Hartz needs to be flipping hamburgers somewhere, not sitting in court.

The government cannot force people to go to church or a mosque. These same people who want to force you to go to Mosque would scream “separation of church and state” if you tried to make them go to a Baptist Church

Even Roosevelt never forced anyone to attend State Shinto observances or Nazi rallies.

It would seem to me that this is a government endorsement of one religion over another and verboten by the Constitution.

Conservatives are in a dilemma. We are generally law-and-order types, and respect the social cohesion provided by a normal law abiding population. But when a judge makes a ridiculous ruling that is clearly at odds with established law, we feel powerless to fight with the established system e.g. countersuits, motions etc. But the govt at various levels has demonstrated that they can break the law with impunity. When such a state exists, even normally law abiding conservatives have no moral obligation to comply, despite the old saw about acting like a Roman in Rome. It's all an attitude adjustment regarding the rules of engagement on our part as soldiers for freedom.
