This article has two headlines, one on the front cover and one over the actual piece. I chose the headline from the front cover.

Federalism is the future of the UK.

Three regions already have elected Parliaments or legislatures and England will probably get one also very soon.

The UK will no longer be a unitary state and London will no longer run every thing. This is good for the country and for its democracy.

The people of Scotland voted for greater powers within a federal UK.

Well, whether independent or not, I think it is time to say BRAVO!!! to the people of UK and Scotland.

No one was killed. No buildings burned down. No violent mass organizations or demonstrations.

Just people lined up to vote, and respecting the results!

Job well done! Very well done!

The current situation is absurd with Scottish MPs voting on English matters at Westminster.

...Scotland - you’re our brother, we love you, but don’t ever take sides against the family again.

...Don’t worry Scotland. We’ll all be Chinese in 5 years anyway.

...Scotland! Meet the new boss. Quite literally the same as the old boss.

China’s Global Times (Chinese ver) said Scotland’s Independent Referendum is sign of blood clot in the Western democracy system!

Yeah, i understand...but Scotland is getting greater powers & 45% voting Yes isn’t a small percentage, sends a message. A federal UK can work well though.

The Scots currently get much more tax money and double(!) the MPs per capita than the English.

I dearly wanted them to vote Yes.

Rats.

Note: I use ‘rats’ like ‘drat’ or ‘darn’. Not casting aspersions.

Is it me or did we just dodge a Greek-like Financial Crisis here. Who who have bought their Bonds? (I garner with their socialist leanings their are in debt or spending more tax dollars than they take in) If they rapped their bonds into something else like our "CMO's" which bond house would have taken it in the shorts and given us another Lehman Sept of 2008 scenario if and when they collapsed?

"Federalism is the future of the UK."

I wonder if something like that could work in the U.S. ...

I know the Pound Sterling rose fairly significantly over the past several days on speculation of a yes vote, so the world of currency trading appears to have viewed it as an economic positive for Scotland to leave the UK.
