Yes. As we know, people who are nearly insane cannot be manipulated, and the government would never engage in a clandestine operation to further their goals.

Why, next thing people will tell me is that the NSA records all of our conversations, or the metadata surrounding them, for later use! Total tin-foil stuff.

Next thing people will tell me that there is actually someone who didn’t know that the government has been monitoring phone conversations and metadata for years.

You mention NSA but it sounds more like the CIA's "The Finders" program to take young children, mess with their minds, and turn them into assets who can be triggered later in life as adults.
