BOISE, Idaho – A SUV full of teenagers crashed in Idaho after one of the passengers lit the driver's armpit hair on fire with a lighter, authorities said Wednesday.

All five young people in the Ford Bronco were hurt in the crash Sunday and received medical treatment, the Ada County Sheriff's Office said.

Two of the passengers, ages 15 and 16, were thrown from the vehicle, but none of the five suffered life-threatening injuries.

It’s amazing to me how the Internet has made all of this stuff so public. We were ALL kids once, and kids do stupid things. I can think back to my teenage years and honestly wonder how I made it out alive.

Back then, with no Internet, things happened but they were localized. With the Internet, stupidity across the planet is on display, and we’re made to think, “This shouldn’t be happening.”

Well, guess what professor... it happens every day and has been happening for centuries.

Must have been a case of spontaneous armpit combustion.

There is a reason why many states do not allow teens to drive with other teens unless there is an adult present.

You might be a redneck if...

Someone lights your armpit hair on fire and you crash your Bonco.

Ah yes, many’s the time I set someone on fire just for fun.

See, I blame the parents here.

I bet not one single parent told their child not to go setting armpit hair on fire whilst driving around in the Bronco.

And the schools! Oy! Don’t get me started there. Where were the classes warning teens against inflammatory armpit hair?

Oh c’mon Dr. Literal. You know what I mean. Yes, we did stupid shit with fire. I’m not discounting the total lack of regard for safety of this prank, but as a kid with an old Mercury and 429 cid Ford engine under the hood, I used to go blazing down residential roads at midnight with my buddies with no regard for the consequences. It’s not like that’s any more responsible than actually lighting someone on fire.

There is an obvious solution here. We need to ban all arm pit hair. We must get legislation passed now to save our children.

Yup, sounds like teenagers.

Yup.

I know one who ran through a mall on fire.

He later said Richard Pryor was right, when you are on fire people get the heck out of your way!

The parents? I blame the lighter! It didn’t carry the proper warning (you can tell because it was not 8 feet tall in order to carry all that text.) The parents will be sure to sue.

This is certainly a wake-up call for government control of deodorants.
