Tampa Bay Times ^ | 9/16/14 | Marc Caputo and Jay Weaver

With soft piano music in the background, an anonymous Republican in Gov. Rick Scott's latest attack ad levels an explosive claim about Democrat Charlie Crist and Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein.

"I got swindled by both Rothstein and Charlie," the man says.

But not only is there no evidence to support this accusation about Crist, the Miami Herald has identified the man as Fort Lauderdale investor Dean Kretschmar

Reading this article, it appears to be a lame, over the top attempt to nit pick the commercial. As if in 30 seconds, this man has the obligation to give a complete history of his litigation.

Essentially, the ad is true and an accurate reflection of the facts of the case and the viewpoint of the VICTIM of Scott Rothstein.

Another example of the media kissing up to the Obama hugger Crist.

Agreed! Not a morning goes by that I'm not yelling at my TV for the absolute BS the Dems are putting out there. It really should be illegal to mislead the public the way they are.

They've been touting this whole thing that Scott cut billions from education without pointing out that Florida's K-12 enrollment numbers fell to the point that staffing was too high. They cut what they did and lowered corporate taxes to bring jobs back to Florida, and he succeeded admirably at that!

While the ads are infuriating, it's more infuriating how many people believe them.

Good old St Pete Slimes renamed Tampa Bat Slimes to hide the fact this left wing rag propagandists were caught in a FBI tape conspiring with a local terrorist to hide his jihadist links.

Old Marc Caputo was canned at the Miami Herald and slithered his way over to even more radical left wing rag.

Fl media is full of NE leftists and NY Slimes rejects.

Hmm, Scott comes out with a 5 point lead in the poles and next think you know the TBT attacks one of his commercials......that's weird.

TBT leans as far left as the NY Slimes. I read it on-line but ignore Politifact, etc because it routinely is biased so far left, tied to the Austin American -Statesman, the WaPo of Texas, etc.

Yeah, I just found it too much of a coincedence Scott breaks ahead and now a media outlet questions an ad........not surprised though. I live in Fla. and the ad in question has been running for quite some time now, I’ve seen it many times.

never understood as to why many yankees come south and then want their new southern state to look like the socialist hell hole they left.

If they love it so much up north then why not move back

Oh I agree. I stopped going to the Rays games because there are so many people that live here that cheer for their “home” team, especially the Yankees fans. Colorado just turned into a “California” and they’d love to turn Texas into the same. No where to run.

the worst ones are the ones who move from the north east, NY or Boston and all they ever talk about is how good it is up north and stupid it is down south.

I asked one couple why don’t they move back up north if it’s so good and their reply was”we are getting a piece of our pie like everyone here”

It just summed up how arrogant some of them are
