While reading the February issue of the Marine Corps Gazette, I skimmed past the “Be Bold” advertisement calling for readers to submit articles that challenge a Marine Corps policy or way of doing business. Immediately a current “hot topic” came to mind, but as usual I quickly discarded it because I have purposely avoided publicly disagreeing with the passionate opinions of many of my female peers and friends. After weeks of contemplation and debate, I am “being bold” and coming clean: I am a female Marine officer and I do not believe women should serve in the infantry.

What combat leader would not want to replace his man warriors with a shorter, lighter, weaker, sicklier, less aggressive, slower moving, more terrain limited, reduced distance traveling, hygienically vulnerable, smaller weight carrying, more prone to injury, version?

Excellent article and whole-heartedly agree. The problem I have with this article is now those who are working so diligently to tear down our military and our national security will order that every platoon have 10% females to accomplish the disruption, demoralization, and destruction.

Here’s how I relate this to Ray Rice and his situation:
From watching the video, Janay Rice assaulted Ray first. He hit back. Well ladies (and I use that term loosely when it comes to the feminazis), that’s combat. You hit a guy, you better put him down because he might hit back.
If you want to serve in front line infantry, then be out front and demand repeal of all domestic violence laws. Put an end to all of this crying and whining about “battered women.” If you want to fight, then fight and shut up when you lose. Just don’t ask to have it both ways.
Me, I’m perfectly fine with them admitting they can’t fight and I’ll go back to believing that a man never, ever hits a woman like I was brought up to believe.

Depends on the army. If its the army that is going to nurse Ebola patients or provide meals to the starving then yes of course they should be in “combat”. If its the one that has to kill and destroy property, then no.
