Do I know of any woman who couldn’t do that? It depends. If the guy if asleep or immobilized, I’m sure most any woman could. But it’s a pretty easy thing to defend against.

Against the assault itself, yes. But against that combined with a society that frowns on males hitting females regardless of the circumstances, an openly rigged judicial system that will find a way to blame the male if it can, and the occasional hero who will want to defend the lady fair, not so easy.
And if you're a boy whose father has drilled it into you that it is never right to hit a girl and never bothered to tell you about the kick to the groin or how to protect yourself from it, and you're in a school system that allows girls to assault you for no reason and denies you the basic right to defend yourself, definitely not easy.
