But it’s a pretty easy thing to defend against.

Against the assault itself, yes. But against that combined with a society that frowns on males hitting females regardless of the circumstances, an openly rigged judicial system that will find a way to blame the male if it can, and the occasional hero who will want to defend the lady fair, not so easy.

And if you're a boy whose father has drilled it into you that it is never right to hit a girl and never bothered to tell you about the kick to the groin or how to protect yourself from it, and you're in a school system that allows girls to assault you for no reason and denies you the basic right to defend yourself, definitely not easy.

You don’t think you could defend yourself against the average woman? I would hope you could. If not, I feel sorry for you.

Your psychology expertise didn't prove true here. I could be physically handicapped from any number of reasons, in which case your comments would be downright callous.

But that isn't the case, so no harm done.

Actually, I agree with your comment here completely. I’ll also say that what I said referred to grown men — I didn’t mean to imply that little boys can defend themselves similarly. Little kids basically can’t defend themselves at all and are easy prey for most anything. This is why I do have a big problem with any parent who tells a very young girl to “kick ‘em where it hurts.” Frankly, it’s a very violent, dangerous move. And if you wouldn’t teach a child to poke another child in the eyes as self-defense, you shouldn’t be teaching groin attacks either. They occupy the same level of seriousness, and you don’t teach little kids how to seriously hurt other little kids.

As for school systems, well, yes, they’re hotbeds of anti-male bias and hatred.

Now, about your last comment: I said, “You don’t think you could defend yourself against the average woman? I would hope you could. If not, I feel sorry for you.” Well, if you were handicapped, then I’d have a really good reason to feel sorry for you, wouldn’t I!
