If they where taken a week after he was with his father, those where NOT from the beating he gave him. Those are too fresh to be a week old. Those are welts. The welts would have turned to a yellow or purple hue within a couple days.

Did anyone consider the possibility that Adrian Peterson was trying to send a message to Baby Mama rather than discipline the 4-year-old? I believe he sent her a message afterward detailing all the damage. He must resent paying that child support and maybe having to have the kid visit and mix with his “real kids”? He hadn’t even met the 2-year-old son (by another Baby Mama) who was killed last year.

I have no fundamental problem with spankings, etc. That said, the issue is not child support or anything else - it's Peterson going waaaay overboard. You don't beat a kid.
