I’m gifted at math and so are my daughters. I get irritated with teachers who don’t respect people who are good at math. Ut’s a hell of a lot more relevant than the amount of creative writing my daughters have had to endure in their schooling.

Two of the smartest people I’ve met in my life were also very good when it came to mathematics.
One of them was a male, but he was black. He had a Ph.D in Quantum Physics.
the other was a female and she was half-Japanese, half-Israeli. She switched from an engineering degree to a math degree and ended up graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Ohio State.
