U.S. troops in Iraq to rise to 1,600

There will be 1,600 U.S. troops in Iraq by the time President Obama’s current plans are fully in place — but none of those are considered combat troops, which means the U.S. is not officially reengaged in the war there, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel told Congress on Tuesday.

Had Obama the Idiotic not pulled all of our people out of Iraq, but instead left a good-sized residual force, ISIS would never have left Syria and headed east to gather all that left behind, American war materiel. Those who have been beheaded would likely be alive. The thousands of murdered Christians would likely be alive.
